🔹Countertechnique
The Countertechnique® class is a contemporary dance technique class. It stretches, coordinates and strengthens the body, making the dancer sweat, build stamina and really move. The class starts with a recurring set of exercises, allowing dancers to investigate the Countertechnique® principles in detail. The second half of the class consists of changing components, working towards luscious movement combinations or jumping at the end. The Countertechnique® class results in dancers using less energy, losing their fear of taking risks and gaining speed in changing direction.

Together with our latest premiere, we also had to say goodbye to our beloved Rehearsal Director, Mariko Koh.
We are deeply grateful to have had such an extraordinary rehearsal director, teacher, and friend by our side.

Over her twelve years with Of Curious Nature, Mariko has played a significant role in shaping our company — sharing her artistry, passion, and dedication in every rehearsal and performance. Her energy and instinctive spirit have left an important mark on all of us.

Mariko, you always inspire us. We wish you nothing but the very best in this new chapter of your journey.
