We decided not to take these photos before she turned one, because we wanted to capture the real her at one year old📷

Four little teeth, with another one on the way. Her hair had grown long enough for a tiny ponytail. We thought she would be walking by now… but nope, not yet😂 Her personality was getting stronger and stronger, and she was becoming more and more of her own little person every day.

She had been calling mama for a while, and just one week after this photoshoot, she surprised us by finally calling papa too🥹

So here she is at one — four little teeth, tiny ponytail, still learning to walk, big personality, and slowly unlocking all these little milestones.

Exactly as she was. Exactly how we want to remember her👶🏻💗

Surreal doesn’t even cover it — Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in our house, catching up on the years we’ve known each other. Also finally, officially introducing him to my baby, Toto aka Koei. She actually sat through the whole conversation (with a few chaotic moments, of course) and clearly enjoyed his company just as much as we did. Thank you for coming by, PM Wong.
