Accidentally committed to doing a crazy running challenge without even thinking about how hard it would be. 48 miles in 48 hours running 4 miles every 4 hours on the dot. 8pm, 12am, 4am, 8am etc…

I grew a lot through this mentally, having to rely on the Lord for strength and endurance that I haven’t leaned on lately and also the best community in the world. So grateful for everyone who helped encourage, ran some laps, and cheered us on!

I think the 4x4x48 is going to grow quite a bit next year… Randye & Cody might need to get a bigger garage and more waffles. I apologize to Strava for 12 uploads in 2 days. But hey… no back pain??? Sick

To everyone who came out and knocked out loops with us throughout the weekend, the miles were easier because of you. And the texts of “what loop are you on?”. Y’all are the ones.

To the crew that was in it for the long haul, grinding through the early mornings, late nights, tired legs, and questionable nutrition choices—you made the weekend what it was.

A special shoutout to my husband, who apparently doesn’t understand that 4x4x48 equals 48 miles and decided we should “go one more” to make it an even 50.

A lot of miles, a lot of sodium, very little sleep, and a whole lot of gratitude for this community. Hard things are better together.

Bagged a 50 piece.

A two-day experiment to determine whether caffeine and poor decisions can coexist. Results were inconclusive.

Got to run alongside some of the coolest people I know.

Hello everyone! @michael.blacc & @marinblack17 have been such an instrumental part of my life this past year. Their son Jett was diagnosed with leukemia just recently and are in Memphis Tennessee starting chemotherapy. Well, running a half marathon certainly wasn’t on my bucket list this year (or ever, if I’m honest) but I have enjoyed running so much more than I ever thought I would. I have really prioritized my health over the past seven months and this was a fun reward for the hard work. My amazing husband and friends were there at so many stops cheering me on – I couldn’t have done it without them. 🏃🏽‍♀️✨

Y’all. I had the BEST BIRTHDAY!! I’m so thankful for my friends. They made my ultimate birthday slumber party dreams come true. 🥹 I HIGHLY recommend having a sleepover with your best girlfriends, dance, sing, laugh, play games, watch movies, order pizza and just HAVE FUN! I can’t thank y’all enough. It was just what my heart needed.😭💗

We’re halfway through September but here’s my August 🤪
