In one week we will be kicking off our Annual Hunger Month initiatives with our HUNGER WALK! Join us Wednesday, October 28th, outside the Dyson Center for brief remarks around 12:15pm, followed by our walk through, and around, campus! Show your support in our collective fight against hunger. If you can, please consider making a donation to help us raise money to support local and regional organizations that help our communities. Before and after, take some time to also stop by the CCEL Partner Tables inside Dyson for more information on how you might get more involved!

Fox & Found is officially launching our digital resale marketplace. Scan the QR code so our marketplace pops up into your Bright-space tab and it’s super simple to find and post items. We will be posting a tutorial shortly but click on the “Start Here: How to Use” section for how to get started. This digital site will operate like a Facebook marketplace but exclusively between Marist students and everything is free of charge. Essentially students will post unwanted items under the designated tab and once another student is interested, they will email to figure out a meeting spot. Students are responsible for taking down their post after their item has been given away. We will be offering a ‘Swap Spot’ in the Center for Civic Engagement and Leadership office for those of you who’d be more comfortable meeting in a third party location on campus. View the hours and locations under the ‘Swap Spot’ tab in our marketplace portal to learn more. We are trying this out for the very first time so please DM us if you have any questions or problems with the site. #collegelife #marist #resaleshop #communityimpact

On Sunday, we held our launch party and first move in market. The turnout was truly incredible and blew us completely away. We are so happy to have met some of our day one followers, as well as support over 250 students, on Sunday alone, move into their new home. The demand for a space like this is huge and couldn’t be clearer by the excitement from all of you. We are happy to announce that our supply has been pretty much cleared out, with rooms that held hundreds of items, now completely empty. A few inventory milestones are that we re-homed… - 50 three tiers - 60 plastic organizer bins - 40 garbage cans - 34 mirrors - 270 kitchenware items We couldn’t have made close to the impact that we have without Marist’s Center for Civic Engagement and Leadership…stop by their booth at the activities fair Friday! If you have any pictures from your time at Fox & Found please DM us, or write about your experience in the link in our bio🦊❤️ #collegelife #marist #communityday #moveinready

Fox & Found has been the vision of so many wonderful student directors, faculty and community members. It’s finally time to showcase the years of leadership, creativity and commitment that went into getting a marketplace on campus. It’s been close to 10 years of Semester Sweep Out, the donation drive during move out that distributes hundreds of student items to those in need. Student helpers have been imagining and fighting for a space, like Fox & Found, that helps our very own Marist community get the items they need. We understand the challenge of moving into a new place, especially for those traveling internationally, because this space is designed entirely by students. Without all of the hard work going into SSO we wouldn’t have all of the exciting opportunities coming this fall:) Be apart of our journey and stop by our marketplace @74 West Cedar during welcome week. Times & dates will be shared soon. Join our mailing list through the linktree in our bio! #marist #communityimpact #donate #redfoxes #collegelife
