POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s never too late to post, right? 😝

Two months later, and I still have @adobe 99U on the brain. Those keynotes and conversations left me buzzing with energy! I’m *continuously* grateful for this community and every opportunity I have to connect with these legends in person.

This conference was such a fun collaboration, and (I might be biased) but the best part was how much students and early-career creatives got to take center stage throughout the event. Our poster gallery featured artists who were specifically commissioned for 99U and had a sweet opportunity to receive creative direction from @swissmiss. We also had portrait photographers on-site to support and learn on-the-job alongside *the* @lindsayadler_photo.

Opportunities to work on real briefs, in real contexts, with real mentors are incredibly important for the industry, and I’m so proud to work on the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship team. If you or someone you know is looking for mentorship and other support launching a creative career, learn more at behance.com/resources 🧡

🖼️ Poster gallery from L to R: Julia Brazeil @brazeil.design, Maya Nucifora @chromafora, Hannah Monash @hannahkovacs.psd, Deniz Eryigit @umutdeniz.hydra, Tainá Cintra Mattiazzi @the.peach.fuzz, TJ Adderley @ickism, Avery DeJager @averydj.designs, Mark Zheng @mark_art_z, and Joshua Wong @joshuawongart!

Shoutout to all of our mentors and employers who were there supporting the event in one capacity or another. You’re our glue 🍯

And TY to @brazeil.design for my cherished red bear!!

On The Mortar this morning we're sharing Typecast, a dark and tense story from @extrateethmag about a staged encounter in a cafe. An out-of-work actor is relishing the challenge of an unusual job, but when his artifice comes up against pure emotion the script goes out of the window, and so does his sense of control. You can read the whole story by @katiehauthor and see the full illustration by @mark_art_z on The Mortar now (link in bio...)

Honored to have hosted the @Adobe @99U Conference this year! The conversations in that room were different. Real. The kind you don’t forget. ❤️ If you missed it, the full replay is waiting for you for free! 👉🏾 adobe.ly/99Ureplay

Mark Zheng (mark_art_z) is a Toronto-based illustrator who loves working on narrative-driven projects. He enjoys filling his images with tiny humans, cars, and buildings, carefully packing every corner with small, intentional details. He loves playing with texture and shape, creating scenes that feel messy and chaotic in a fun, lively way.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for everyone who came to my very first solo show at @shop.loohoo

It was so wonderful seeing all your faces one last time before I head back to school. This show was the perfect way to wrap up my gap year! ✨

I’ll miss you all so much—hope to see you again very soon! 🥺💗
