We’ve been away in Wales for a few days and after a lot of rain the sun shone for us today. We visited Powis Castle and were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens. I’m wearing my latest @mark_patterns #mpgoddessblouse in a lightweight linen from @fabricgodmother that had been sitting in my stash for a few years. It’s looking a little wrinkled as we had quite a drive to get here 😅The buttons are from @dittofabrics. It’s a lovely autumnal colour and I think will be great as the weather cools down- I was a bit warm in it today!

This is our debut pattern @mark_patterns and I hacked it to eliminate the buttons completely. I stitched the front closed permanently, leaving the neck opening as long as I wanted and then attached a tie instead of messing with the collar. The ties are really long, the piece is 2 yards long total, but as you can see in the last photo it allows me to tie a generous bow if I like. Honestly, I loved just having the long ties all day, it almost felt like an accessory. Super easy, and fun with this piece of @neridahansencreative I have had in my stash for too long. An art museum felt like the perfect place for it to go for the day. @metmuseum
