Here are THREE super unique cards I never thought I’d see separately, let alone, together! I love when card projects overlap a bit and I can take photos of completely different cards together like this! All three of these awesome cards were created in the minds of the awesome collectors who came to me asking if we could make their ideas a reality and I absolutely love being the hands that can make those ideas come to life! So here is my brand new custom 1919 Tux the cat Cracker Jack card alongside my 1954 Hank Aaron and my custom 1988 “Mariachi” Joe Kelly card! Three creative card projects from three very creative clients! Here is a quick look at some of the handmade packaging created for our custom art cards. We truly hope you enjoy the experience of unboxing one of these art cards just as much as the card itself! #thoughtfullypackaged Each card is a team effort, so while I work on the card illustration, my wife Mary is busy working hard hand-making the packaging that holds your card safely during shipping! It was both designed and invented by her, and it’s a beautiful presentation for your one of a kind art piece! mikeolsonart.com  Series: 4 Card #: 6 Design Inspiration: 1915 Cracker Jack Size: 2.5 in x 3.5 in

Cracker Jack Paw Players! Yes, you read that correctly! Today’s card project is a tribute card to memorialize a really important member of this collectors family. A very special kitty named Tux! This tribute card project had a lot of very specific custom details that were requested by the client, including a very personal card back that featured some text that was very special and meaningful to the owners. Its those tiny details that make all the difference and its those details that I love to make sure get into the finished piece. Check out this video to hear more about the story behind this truly unique card! A hand drawn card can be ANYTHING you want it to be! For the collector that wants THEIR story in a card… Just reach out and let’s talk! Today, April 15, 2026, marks Jackie Robinson Day, the 79th anniversary of the day Jackie Robinson broke the Major League Baseball color barrier with the Brooklyn Dodgers. To honor his monumental legacy, every player and coach across the league will be wearing his iconic No. 42 today. This spirit of tribute often extends into the hands of fans and artists who create handmade Jackie Robinson artwork and art cards like I have had the recent honor and pleasure of doing. A favorite inspiration for these artistic tributes is his iconic 1948 Leaf card, known for its vibrant yellow background and classic portrait. Here is my handmade recreation of that very card, faithfully remade both front and back. Mine, along with all of these handmade creations serve as personal, tactile reminders of the man who transformed both baseball and the American civil rights movement. #handmadebaseballcards #mikeolsonart #jackierobinsonday #jackierobinson

On October 24, 1972, the world lost Jackie Robinson far too soon at the age of 53. Jackie paved the way for so many both on and off the diamond, living a life based on moral character and nonviolence, while letting his talent speak for itself as he humbly broke down barriers despite all odds ⚾️🎨 #jackierobinson #vintagebaseballcards #oilpainting #baseballart #baseballcards #baseballhistory #vintagebaseball #timelapse
