Purchase this print entitled, “Arrayed” from Look Series 2024 by @markellspivey

Arrayed, 2024
_______

Inspired by Matthew 6:28-30 NKJV
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Look (2024)
________

Inspired by Matthew 6:25-27

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

MARBLE HILL - A barber who has been clipping hair in Marble Hill for over 50 years says he is being forced out of his shop by his landlord.
Roosevelt Spivey has run his 228th Street shop, Marble Hill International Unisex Barbershop, for 53 years. Spivey says a new landlord took over the building back in December and then handed him a 30-day eviction notice earlier this month.
Spivey says he was issued the notice for no specific reason.
Customers and friends are petitioning and reaching out to local leaders in an effort to save the shop.
“You take a Roosevelt Spivey away, you take the heart of the community,” says Pastor Nathaniel Dixon.
News 12 The Bronx is told that Spivey and his attorney plan to meet this week with the landlord. They hope an agreement can be reached to allow the barbershop to stay. News 12 The Bronx reached out multiple times to the landlord for comment and will bring you that response when we get it.
