Some of the most revealing details in a music room are not musical instruments.

Beside the piano in Kensington Room One, the teacher’s swivel chair brings together buttoned leather, turned timber and the character of a traditional study. Its Victorian-style captain’s-chair design offers a distinct place to listen, observe and guide.

The student plays. The teacher listens. Two seats, one musical conversation.

Comfort and elegance belong in classical piano study. That is the WKMT London ethos.

🎹🔥 LONDON EUSTON STATION JUST GOT HIT BY BOOGIE WOOGIE & ROCK ’N’ ROLL! 🤯🇬🇧

Who needs a concert hall when you’ve got a piano under the stairs at Euston Station?! 🎹🔥

I couldn’t resist… so I turned a random corner of London into a ROCK ’N’ ROLL SHOW! 🤘🎶

People passing by, unexpected rhythms, crazy piano energy — THIS is what happens when Boogie Woogie meets Rock ’n’ Roll! ⚡️

🎹 Would YOU stop and watch this live at a train station? 👇

Antoine Wagner, a descendant of Richard Wagner and Franz Liszt, listens to my original composition “Focus”.

I’ve been working on a new recording of this piece. Can’t wait to share it with you.

Just waiting for good moments to become memories on your book of life is not enough! You have to ask the universe for what you want and then be prepare to make it notable! Opportunities are there every single moment but are we always taking advantage of them? I am training myself to do so!☺️❤️I hope you enjoy !#piano ,#london ,#talent ,#student,#euston

A few highlights from our visit to Decorex, where there’s as much to discover in the conversations as there is on the stands.

The show opened on Sunday at Olympia London, bringing together furniture, lighting, textiles and decorative craft. It’s a chance to catch up with familiar faces, meet new makers and see the work behind the collections.

For us, those exchanges are part of the pleasure of visiting. Hearing how a piece was developed, what materials were used and discussing what can be made bespoke brings another dimension to sourcing. You leave with ideas, but also with people to turn to when the right project comes along.

A special mention to Claudia Dorsch Interiors for ‘The Chalet Reimagined’ VIP lounge. It had the enveloping warmth of a mountain retreat, with enough character and detail to keep us looking long after we’d sat down. A wonderful example of what thoughtful design and collaboration can bring to a space.

Swipe through for The House Directory’s highlights and stay to the end for a peek inside the lounge.

There’s still time to visit before the doors close on Wednesday. Go with a project in mind or simply a curious eye.

📍 Olympia London | 11 to 14 October
Sunday to Tuesday: 10am to 6pm
Wednesday: 10am to 5pm
