“To be a leader, you have to lead yourself first.”

I believe leadership isn’t about a title or position. It’s about leading by example, doing your best, lifting others up, and making a positive impact through your actions.

A big thank you to @rob.raiseyourlidconsulting for reminding us that great leadership starts with how we show up every day!

This week, we talk about #GeorgeWebster, 14, who killed his mother Wilhelmina McCreary-Webster with a baseball bat at their home in #montreal #canada , a posh home in #Westmount. George attacked his mother, brother, sister and Sylvia Cust, 18, a family friend from #Australia who had been staying with the family in the maid’s room downstairs for five weeks.
We also talk about #WayneCliffordBoden , a #Canadian #serialkiller and rapist active between 1969 and 1971. Boden killed four women, three in #Montreal and one in #Calgary , earning the nickname #TheVampireRapist for biting the breasts of his victims, and received four life sentences. Boden’s was the first murder conviction in North America due to forensic #odontological evidence.
Next week, we will talk about #BlackChristmas (originally titled #SilentNightEvilNight and retitled #StrangerintheHouse on television screenings) is a #1974 Canadian #slasherfilm produced and directed by #BobClark . It stars #OliviaHussey , #KeirDullea , #MargotKidder , #AndreaMartin , #LynneGriffin and #JohnSaxon . The story follows a group of #sororitysisters who receive threatening phone calls and are eventually stalked and murdered by a deranged killer during the #Christmas season. #canadiantruecrime #truecrime

Check out our latest episode! #crybaby is a #1990 #American #teen #musical #romantic #comedy #film written and directed by #johnwaters . The film stars #JohnnyDepp as #1950s teen #rebel “Cry-Baby” #WadeWalker, and also features a large ensemble cast that includes #IggyPop and #RickiLake.
John Waters noticed the media’s framing of the case in the context of the negative aspects of #Baltimore’s #drape youth #subculture, later inspiring him to make the movie Cry Baby.
#CarolynWasilewski was the 14-year-old victim of an #unsolvedmurder near her home in #Baltimore, #Maryland. Carolyn was part of the #drape sub-culture in Baltimore, leading to papers victim blaming her for her murder.

😉 Surround yourself with people who challenge you to be better. Such a fun day with cinder blocks, Dumbells, tacos, rope climbs, Handstand pushups and so much running!

These people I get to compete with are amazing. I learn so much from them and have a blast watching them give it their all.

I'm competing with a team of awesome athletes and coaches this Saturday. I'm doing short "quick" rope climbs for one of the workouts.

If you have known me more than 6 or so years, I was not a "climber" or able to do something like a rope climb, let alone with mostly upper body and less legs.

I am SO proud of being able and so grateful to compete and do things I never thought I would do. At age 35 especially 😄 🥳💗 this is going to be fun!

Let's go #YCFTacHoes and #YCFBurritHoes
