Marlow & Rye do proper sandwiches. And when I say proper, I mean toasted bread, packed right to the edges 🥪

I had the Reuben: salty pastrami, tangy sauerkraut, creamy Thousand Island and gooey melted Swiss. Messy, melty and seriously delicious. This sandwich was a little bit sexy 🔥

To drink: the vanilla blueberry matcha so good! and the mango, pineapple & passion fruit refresher 🍵🥭

Also have to say the staff are so lovely here.
Thankyou

📍Marlow & Rye

You may recall I visited @marlowandrye just after they opened last year for a tasty lunch. They then messaged to say they’d launched a whole new summer menu and it was about time I revisited ☀️

So I hopped over to @cratesjs in Walthamstow and dived in. One of their weekend specials is the sausage roll, which is a corker. Mixed with bacon bits and Gruyère cheese it’s a must order 🫔

On the normal weekly menu, the Reuben sandwich was excellent. Stacks of pastrami, melted emmental cheese and a tangy thousand island dressing 🥪

For a healthier option, there’s lots of salads. I went for the Cajun one which came with some of the juiciest prawns I’ve had in some time. Not surprising when I found out the owners also run @hotnjuicyshrimpldn 🦐

If you’re not hungry, just go grab a drink. They’ve got refreshers - vibrant and fruit-fuelled drinks. The mango and pineapple was perfect for this weather🍍

Love it here, thanks for having me back!
