Didn’t feel like things would move today. Body was stiff, energy low, push through the mental and slowly got the body moving. Today’s program called for a rpe 9 around 474-495. During warmups 455 flew so figured why not 505 with some friends @marnik_performance and @razethebar.fitness spotting from the sides, just in case.

That weight moved. Let’s gooo!!! #perseverance #injury #squats #legday #competition

You’re a trainer watching your client do everything except the exercise you demonstrated. 😂

Defensive footwork + resistance run rocket = faster stops, quicker attacks. 💪🏀

Training with my strength coach @marnik_performance to improve:

✅ Deceleration & re‑acceleration – stop fast, explode back
✅ Quick cross steps – move better on defense

The result? Sharper lateral movement and better control on every possession.

With a smile on my face and sadness in my heart, I had to withdraw from Clay Courts.

I was grateful to start the tournament with a first-round win in singles, but during my doubles match, after a tough fall while trying to save a match point in the super tiebreak, I broke my arm, and my tournament came to an unexpected end.

A huge thank you to everyone who reached out to check on me and sent messages, prayers, and well wishes. Your kindness and support have meant so much to me.

It’s heartbreaking, but setbacks are part of every athlete’s journey.

Now it’s time to focus on healing, recovering, and putting in the work to come back stronger than ever. This is just one chapter, not the end of the story, and a reminder that anything can happen at any moment.

Thank you to my doubles partner, @rafita_tirado_ , for playing with me. We had so much fun together! 🤩

Winning both Singles and Doubles titles at the same tournament is a special feeling. I’m incredibly grateful to my coaches Federico and Nik for teaching me the importance of discipline, hard work, focus, and believing in myself.
Thank you to my doubles partner David for great matches!
