POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Obviously I adored Palm Springs, but probably the biggest highlight (besides seeing @jefflynneselo, of course) was meeting up with my online pals, Marni and Lupita ♥️

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it 1000 times more, but finding friends who share your niche interests is something I highly recommend. It’s like you’re able to see directly into a slice of each other’s soul that others just can’t “get” as easily. Now, ELO isn’t exactly niche, but it surprised me how much the music changed my life and I was searching for people who understood the gravity of the situation.

I first met Lupita when she asked the ELO subreddit if anyone wanted to meet up at the VetsAid show in San Diego- and hellllll yeah I did! It was exactly the kind of thing I secretly wanted to ask, but didn’t have the guts to. We kept linking up between sets to hang out, gush over the music, and learn how much we have in common. We’ve even been on some crazy adventures since (but I’ll save that story for later 👀.)
Meanwhile, Miss Marni has posted some amazing paintings of Jeff Lynne that I fell in love with and we became fast friends. We’ve been each other’s cheerleaders and support group for our crazy cases of limerence… It’s fine, we swear! Also, we have traded beautiful art and gifts (everytime I wear that sweater or use the coffee mug, I’m transported back to this trip… so I admittedly wear/use them all the time!) I like her a lot okay??? And together, I suppose the three of us make C̶h̶a̶r̶l̶i̶e̶s̶ JEFF’S Angels. 💕

I’m so , so glad we were all able to meet up at this show. SO glad that I had to draw a little pic of us together, like a dork :3 I love that music pulled us together from over thousands of miles away. Strangers who might’ve never crossed paths…. Sharing important pieces of our souls. Being next to them made me feel so fortunate, seen, and loved. I wish we could do it all again.

(Nick was there too xD Had to slip him in that last photo. And Marni made the shirt she’s wearing!!! Bow down to her.)

I thought 2024 was an amazing year but 2025 pulled all the stops. Insanely difficult to just choose 20 photos that represent the year

January: fires in SoCal, flew close to the palisades fire on a United MAX 9, and got to fly a J3 cub!
February: Met up one of my favorite east coasters and flew to Prescott
March-May: Instrument training and I learned how to drive a trolley!!
June: Took a tour across the west coast and got together with many friends and family
July: OSHKOSH!
August: instrument checkride and a LONG haul to Australia!
September-December: Commercial time build flights and met with various friends and family across the US

As always thanks for following along and let’s see what or where 2026 will have in store!

When your friend headlines in Vegas after putting in the work, you celebrate that achievement! Congrats @kermetapio…so well-deserved! A great night of comedy also with @eyrebud and, of course, the man himself…@bradgarrett! Don’t let his stature fool you…he has a big, gentle heart to match! Cyndi and her team at @bradgarrettscomedyclub couldn’t have been nicer!

I stood up for something that's right today and I will always stand up for and advocate for those with disabilities. Disabilities don't always present as what you think they look like. They aren't there for you to cross examine to "help you understand better." Today it was mine and I didn't run away. I gave myself the same respect I give others and it was a brazen act of self care.

Finally working on my little Stanton Pacific Electric Railway Depot postcard painting 🥰 I think the best way to get back to feeling yourself is to just do those things that remind you of YOU! ✨If you’d like to learn more about this awesome little steadfast depot, check out my link in my bio for a mini documentary on my YouTube page! ✨I hope that you like my interpretation of the building so far, with the pretty agricultural frame🍊I’ve been wanting to pick at this for a long time, and audio PDFs for school make it possible. Do something for YOU this weekend! Lots of love, from Marni and Stitch #depot #railroadart #historicalart #stanton #buenapark #orangecounty #artistsofinstagram #riversideartist #citrusart #oranges #orangecratelabel #vintagepostcard

I doodled with the seniors today at our local senior center. They really had a wonderful time. For their privacy I will post my artwork. The little box was inspired by a glass ornament I received in the early 2000s as a thoughtful gift. I kept it in the box the longest time and then pretty much the day I took it out I broke it 😆
I think that streetcar rock is the Pinnacle of my art career, And it's actually inspired by a drawing that Ward Kimball did up a streetcar which looked a lot like our friends from the Cars movies! I don't think I have a picture of it handy but if I ever find it I will share it 😌 @socalrailwaymuseum #LARy 3001 #scrm #mermaidart

#Keiragram, by Marni Griffith. Acrylic on Canvas, 16”x 12”. “Based off photography of her doll collection (www.instagram.com/artistbarbiedreamlife), Marni reimagines facets of herself in whimsical painted representations of her dolls on canvas, playing with the lines of plastic, acrylic, and realism. This collection of characters stand in as transitional objects (ie: teddy bear or blanket) in a non- traditional timeline, noting that trauma and life experiences warrant a chosen place of safety, comfort and nostalgia. Marni uses her 1/6 scale world to articulate bigger plans by working out problems and challenges through play narratives. Through these dioramas and scenarios, photographs capture inspiring moments that bridge the gap of each challenge; who she is and who she wants to be is only a matter of taking Barbie- steps.” Love the playful vibe of this talented artists work! It’s #twinningtuesday so I thought I would share the photo I took for the Zoom interview I had with @ilovebarbies31 last week! As some of you already know, Leslie is such a beautiful person, inside and out so it was an absolute delight to be able to connect and spend time video chatting together about dolls! She will be posting some of the interview, if you have any questions for me, just let her know and she will include the answers. #zoomchats #barbiestayathome #stayathomedollpants #Barbiecollectors #myminime #dollsofinstagram #dollstagram #barbiegram #dollphotogallery #fashiondolls #barbielife #barbieworld #onesixthscale #barbiephotography #myfroggystufffanpics #barbiecollector #barbielook #barbiestyle #instabarbie #barbielife #barbieworld #barbie #fashiondoll #barbiefashion #madetomove #sewforbarbie #barbiesewing #barbiesews #bestbarbiephotos #dgoctober2020
