Don’t mean to make this page too inspirational and whimsical l😂

But a massive thing I believe in is holding onto who tf youare

I talk about it with people in my chair all the time. Who are you when you take away what you’re supposed to be doing? What do you actually like? What makes you feel alive? What do you want to make, wear, listen to, learn, try?

These are my things. Creativity. Experimenting. Playing. Connecting with people. Trying shit I might be terrible at, that’s how I got@good at them. Making things for absolutely no reason other than I wanted to.

Yours might be completely different.

Maybe adulthood needs to not take away your boundaries. Your softness. Your confidence. Your weirdness. Your ability to say no. Your ability to say fuck it and do something anyway.

Because I do think adulthood quietly convinces us everything has to be productive, profitable, impressive or have some sort of angle.

And sometimes it really doesn’t.

Sometimes you can just be here. Make something. Experience something. Laugh with your mates. Change your mind. Waste an afternoon on something that makes you happy. Not everything needs to become something.

I’m actually pretty good at not taking life too seriously, but even I need reminding sometimes.

And maybe that’s something I want to bring onto this page a bit more too. Less creating content because I “need content”. More art, tattoos, random shit I’m making, things I care about and whatever else is going on in my brain.

I just want to create cool shit. Sometimes it’ll mean everything to someone. Sometimes it’ll just look fucking cool. Both are valid.

Anyway. Hold onto yourself. Make the most of being here. Stay creative. Stay a little weird.

Fucking love you guys. 🫶🏼

I love it over here.

Although I must say, my productivity is under constant threat because every time I try to get anything done… this is what happens 😂

I was actually supposed to be making a pair of custom shoes in this video. They probably took me an hour or two longer than they needed to.

Not mad about it though. Time well wasted 🤝

A month of tattoos, mountains, birthdays, long days, loud nights and little moments in between.
the best days are usually the ones you don’t plan too hard. Just keep showing up, say yes a little more, and enjoy the ride xx

Bro, nobody told me voiceovers were gonna be this hard. 😭
Also that’s a bite on my leg yk my blood is sweet

Anyway I had a whole explanation ready and then realised I’d somehow given myself 40 seconds to fit all of it in.

So here’s a recap:

Yellow = rough sketch.

Orange = refining the shapes.

Red = final details.

This wasn’t for a client. I literally just sat down and started drawing to keep my freehanding sharp and see what happened.

I think I’m gonna start doing these regularly and sharing them with you guys. Maybe they’ll inspire a tattoo, maybe they’ll inspire a drawing, maybe they’ll just remind you that not everything creative needs a plan.

And if one of these ends up becoming your next tattoo, even better. Dm me or message me if you’re interested in the design or would like to try something freehand yourself 🖤

I hung this painting with shrink wrap

Not because it was the best solution

Because I kept forgetting to buy wire

Some people will look at that and think it’s ridiculous. Some people will think it’s genius

That’s kind of how creativity works…

I don’t have anything against Pinterest. I use it every day. It’s an incredible tool for collecting references and helping artists understand what a client is drawn to

The problem is when inspiration becomes imitation
Somewhere along the way, being unique became risky and being familiar became safe

I think that’s why so many tattoos are starting to look the same.

The best tattoos don’t come from finding the perfect reference

They come from taking an idea, a feeling, a memory, a hundred different influences and turning them into something that couldn’t belong to anyone else.

Pinterest should be the starting point.

Not the destination.

What do you think?

One thing about me… I’ll always say yes to a creative side quest.

This one was for Wimbledon season: hand-drawing a tennis inspired window display for @headcasebarberswimbledon / check out their page!
The blue lines you can see on the outside are just temporary mark out, so I can map everything out before painting the final design cleanly on the inside.

Whether it’s skin, windows, walls, shoes, clothing or something completely unexpected, I love finding new canvases to work on. Creativity doesn’t really care where it ends up.

If you’ve got a fun project, a weird idea, or something that makes you wonder if it’s possible my inbox is always open. No dreams too big bb Xx

I’ve been spending a lot of time creating lately, in all sorts of different ways.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that inspiration isn’t always found at a desk or in a studio. Sometimes it’s hidden in the little moments in between.

A few snapshots from mine 🤍
