With the theme of love continuing to inspire artists and creatives, and our visitors.

The weekend is celebrating the end of the Art on Your Doorstep outdoor exhibition, our partnership with The National Gallery, bringing masterpieces into unexpected places around Brentford.

There’s lots to do, more to share and plenty to celebrate.

Artists I admire and whose work I've bought...

...As many of you know, when I sell one of my paintings, I often treat myself to something from a fellow creative, whether it's original art, pottery or sculpture, something locally made, mainly candles or a little vintage treat.

@marshmadeleine is someone I could spend hours talking to and still have more questions to ask. A fellow artist, but also a friend, she is a highly respected mudlarker on the Thames and the canals. Madeleine's knowledge and stories make her work even more impressive.

The mudlark fish was bought during @rockandpapercollective's group exhibition at The Gallery @earlscourtdevco. This sculpture was bought for Alan for Father's Day, featuring pieces of tiles representing old London restaurants.

The little banana was bought at the @w4artanddesign winter fair. This little piece shows Madeleine's sense of humour, as well as her knowledge of the industry we are both familiar with working in.

I highly recommend heading to @motherruggeruk during the @creativemilebrentford to see her work and grab yourself something unique and fabulous

So pleased to have been invited by Tom Chivers @thisisyogic to give a presentation on the @londonportauth Creative Permit at the Mudlark Symposium @guildhallartlondon and what it means to us, some of the 50 holders.

I’ll be talking about our artwork and jewellery as well as the connections, creativity, collaborations and friendships that have resulted from this new category of permit.

I’m the last speaker on the Sunday afternoon, so I’ll be ending the Symposium on a creative high 👈🏻◀️ for more info
