ETM-1 Official Closeout

To our speakers, volunteers, donors and team - THANK YOU!

For your time, resources, and dedication. You poured into these students with real care, spread the word, curated the program, and handled documenting this project intentionally. ETM-1 wouldn’t have been possible without you all.

As we close this chapter, we’re sharing our impact report below. It’s a snapshot of what we built together.

Impact Report is attached in BIO.

ON TO THE NEXT PROGRAM! 💪

Martha credits her growth in UX to staying open to learning, change, and feedback. When she found her passion, she went all in, taking classes, interning, building mock projects, and landing her first role.

She still learns every day through courses, articles, and conversations that challenge her.

Martha’s tech story began with early curiosity, learning HTML, CSS, and PHP while waiting for university admission. After a long pause, she found her way back in her penultimate year, explored graphic design, and was later introduced to UX design by a classmate. What started as six months of learning became a six-year career she has not looked back from since.

Sometimes the path pauses. The passion does not.

Day 1 of ETM-1 was truly transformational! ✨
We began our journey at St. Gabriel’s Commercial School (Senior Section), where our speakers engaged the students on:
📚 How their education shapes their future
🧠 Why taking school seriously matters
🪞 Understanding the changes happening in their bodies
🚧 The importance of boundaries and wise choices
🙏 And most importantly, who God is and why knowing Him gives direction and identity

The students were attentive, open-hearted, and deeply impacted.

A special thank you to our amazing speakers @marthaadeleke @miwa_azure @_shay_ron for pouring wisdom, faith, and guidance into these young minds. Your impact was notable, and we are deeply grateful. 💛

The ETM program has only begun to unfold, and greater moments lie ahead. ✨

Which side of the track is your business on?

I’m going to quote two of my favorite people:

1. Fafo @teefafooo says that the evidence that you know something is seen when you’re able to explain it thoroughly.

2. Martha @marthaadeleke made a post this morning about how you have to constantly put to practice, the things you learn.

I couldn’t agree more with these truths, and yesterday as I spoke, I realised that gradually, I’m building mastery in this industry.

Don’t just claim you’re learning, have your knowledge tested. Answer questions, practice…only then is your learning curve complete.

I think we can wrap up the week now 😌🤭

88% of users are less likely to return after a bad user experience.

We’ve seen it a hundred times: Founders build something valuable. Users sign up excited. Then they disappear. Not because the product isn’t good, but because onboarding is confusing.

Swipe through to see how we solve this.

Let’s talk if you’re experiencing this. We’ll help you design products that your users actually understand and use.

I wonder really, what the believer’s life would be like if Christ didn’t die, resurrect, and make us partakers through Baptism as prophesied. We would yet be stuck in sin and the endless cycle of it.

Not just that, the weight of the shame would be so palpable. We would be so helpless, hopeless, doomed even; in a never ending race.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

If Christ didn’t resurrect, our faith is baseless, our testimony is meaningless.

We can claim righteousness now because Christ resurrected, we have a regulator in us now because he didn’t stay down, we are free from the shackles of sin and death because of this grand gesture of Love! WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE because of this!

It sure is worth celebrating 🥹
Thank you Jesus for Freedom and Access.

You need to hone your skills and set yourself up for a boundaryless and borderless life.

It's a step-by-step process; Learn a skill ➡ Hone your Skill ➡ Earn ➡ Master Your Skill ➡ Earn More ➡ Impact Others.

Breaking boundaries is not just about making money, it's leaving a footprint and setting paths for others to follow.

Join @oluwapelumi_hamzat and @marthaadeleke today as they delve deep down into Why Honing Your Skill is Key to Breaking Boundaries!

....just a little backstory.

Just like everyone, I've always wondered about what my life would be like after school. What am I going to do? What if I don't get a job?

As a Biochemistry student at the prestigious Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, I knew fully well that I couldn't practice the pathways and chemical structures I was studying.

Fast forward to 2022, during the ASUU strike when I was in 300L going to 400L, still trying to figure my life out. Those eight months introduced a new routine in my life: sleep, wake up, pray, eat, play, watch movies, and repeat. It was a glimpse of what my life might be like after school if I didn't take action.

Thank God for that strike; it opened up my thinking and helped me think deeply about my life.

I almost considered continuing my fashion design training that I had stopped a long time ago, even though I have a passion for marketing. However, I wasn't sure if it was something I could devote my life to.

I prayed to God and was convinced to start my digital marketing journey. With the help of Peace Itimi's @peaceitimi YouTube videos, I got myself stabilized.

Two months later, a dear friend of mine who is a graphic designer got her first international job. She was to be paid 600 USD monthly, and this was when the dollar was #800, so my friend was earning 480k+ monthly as an undergraduate. My perspective changed! My friend started her graphic design journey before being admitted to university.

Four months after I started learning about digital marketing, I got my first job as a digital marketer at a real estate company, mind you, the strike was still on.
