Welcome to Martha's - Where relaxed long lunches become easy evenings, and every visit feels special.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
It’s not often that we start at the start but, let’s start with the butter!? Fantastically salted using the freshest tasting taramasalata, definitely making for more than just a conversation piece. The shellfish Arancini which, dare I say it, looked ever so slightly festive, were just as tasty as were the very generously cut “Catch of the Day” Sea Bass fillets with herbed potatoes & bite snap broccoli which perfectly complimented the garlic and lemon Bluff’s Mussels. And, yess yes, we simply cannot resist any kind of posh battered Fish especially when it comes with a tangy tartare, mushy peas and (whilst the menu did not say so) the best triple cooked chips we’ve had in a very long time. No room for pudding… And the decor? Well we’ve never been to New York State but we did get a real sense of the Hamptons especially when approaching the main house or admiring the sweeping lawns down to the Solent. Ignore the IOW Ferry and you could quite easily be anywhere Long Island! So it does seem befitting that the restaurant itself is randomly set with light marble, sage, creams and coastal colours whilst the walls reflect a time where stylishly chic came as standard. A large, yet to be lit, fireplace dissects the main dining space so I’m guessing that even the coldest of English winters will feel invitingly cosy and warm!? Dress Code? Which we have already alluded too… Stylishly Chic befitting your time of day..! @marthas.lymington @thenici #stylishlychic #catchoftheday #fishandchips #musselpot #labellavita_ilconto

Come with me to The Hamptons of Hampshire… Lunch at Martha’s ⚓️ If there’s one thing you do this autumn, add a visit to Martha’s to your diary ⛵️🌳✨ I FINALLY made it to @marthas.lymington @thenici this week and it was soo worth the wait! Also turns out we got the last sunny day for a while - lucky us! Bringing a touch of The Hamptons to the coastline of Lymington so you can enjoy fresh seafood and seasonal dishes over a leisurely catch-up 🦐🥂 Everything we had was delicious and the star of the show for me was definitely the Pasta alla Ruota finished tableside in a giant pecorino wheel 💛 plus the best cosmo I’ve ever had! I visited Martha’s at THE NICI New Forest, and it’s such a lovely spot for a special occasion. Think beautiful interiors, incredible service, amazing food and cocktails to match 🍸 The highlight for me was the fresh mushroom pasta, finished tableside in a whole wheel of pecorino cheese 🧀😍 Then a chocolate mousse to finish… the perfect end to the evening. There’s also a spa if you fancy making a full day of it, or you could check into the hotel and turn it into a weekend away. Definitely one to add to your list ✨ AD @marthas.lymington @thenici #TheNici #Marthas #NewForest #DateNight NewForestFood

✨ Come with us to visit the newly opened THE NICI New Forest🌿 We were delighted to be invited as travel agents to experience this beautiful new hotel first-hand. THE NICI New Forest takes its inspiration from the relaxed luxury of The Hamptons. Think timeless interiors, countryside charm and that effortlessly chic East Coast feel. There’s so much to enjoy, with indoor and outdoor pools, a beautiful spa and treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym and juice bar, fantastic kids’ spaces and a cinema. Set in beautiful grounds with divine views across the sea to the Isle of Wight. And it’s dog-friendly too, so your four-legged family members can join the escape. 🐾 We had the pleasure of dining at Martha’s Restaurant, finishing with their signature mille-feuille -definitely one of the highlights! It’s always so valuable for us to experience hotels first-hand and discover all those little details that make a stay extra special. A gorgeous new addition to the New Forest and one we’re very excited to introduce to our clients. ✨ @thenici #thenici #NewForest #marthaslymington #isleofwight #dogfriendly
