Last year I had the pleasure of putting up the 2nd installment of the Compound Hoops basketball team. First time around I planned it all by myself and I was coaching for our 18U team. This time around I had a lot of help from @gabe_laud in organizing the team and decided I wanted to hoop with the guys as well.

A big shoutout to our sponsors @pilipinasaguilas , @wtpcoffee , @bukoj.ph and METC. And to @robycastro_ and @undertheradarsports_ for the great work with producing the jerseys.

This is just the beginning for Compound Hoops, lots of big plans in 2025. So stay tuned and I appreciate everyone who’s supported this little business of mine. 🙏🏽

Practice how you play… but more than that, practice how you WANT to play. Don’t settle for where you’re at right now. Keep building, keep chipping away. The real you is waiting. 💆🏽‍♂️

“Sparring” is a term often used in combat sports, but can be applied to your training regimen as well. Playing 1v1 in specific game situations is a great way to check if you can apply the concepts you’re working on in training.

It’s all about cultivating a safe space to push each other, compete, and explore different movements without fear of failure or judgement.

Try adding some sparring days into your routine and see your game grow. 🌱

Training under the sun ☀️ is a HACK. It’s a great way to wake up the nervous system and regulate your circadian rhythm.

Being one with the elements and having to deal with the heat and the wind provides an extra layer of difficulty to the workouts.

Try adding some outdoor workouts to your regimen and see your game and mood improve. 🌱
