A timeless London townhouse designed for family life. ✨

Our client, Martin Moore @martinmooredesign, created bespoke furniture throughout this Edwardian home, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.

In the kitchen, an ‘unfitted’ approach brings together individual pieces of furniture, including an elegant cabinet with an arched pediment, echoing the curve of the Edwardian windows, housing the American-style fridge. A freestanding island featuring Belgian Blue limestone, rich with natural fossils has been raised to reveal the floor beneath to enhance the sense of space. This attention to detail extends through the home into the utility area, media cabinet and bedroom furniture.

Recurring details, tactile materials, and considered storage bring a sense of cohesion throughout, creating a home designed to evolve with the family over time.

Banquette Love.

After a summer largely off Instagram, I’m back!

With the weather slowly changing, I am delving into my cookbooks, thinking about autumnal recipes and daydreaming about having a kitchen banquette, even though it doesn’t work in our current kitchen! But one day….

This kitchen banquette was in the elegant @martinmooredesign designed by @sammibartlettofficial for this year’s WOW!house @designcentrech

An incredibly calming space, the kitchen brings the outdoors in with its palette of muted greens and browns. I loved the cabinets in grained fumed oak with bronze handles and the “verde natura” quartzite worktop which softened the space.

The verdigris Lila “lily pad“ wall lights and chandelier over the dining table and the ivy shadow chandelier over the kitchen island, all by @portaromanauk , add patina and an element of romance and whimsy to the space.

The botanical motifs can be seen throughout the accessories - the mushroom plates, fern tumbles, lily of the valley cake stands and other decorative accessories.

Tell me what you love about banquette seating.

The kitchen might be the hardest-working room in the house, but it shouldn’t necessarily feel like it.

On 24 September, Romanos will be at Daylesford Farm for Designing the Heart of the Home – a conversation about how the kitchen is evolving and what makes one genuinely good to live in.

Joining Andrew Wartnaby, Andrew Paykel and Laura Butler Madden, with FT HTSI’s Clara Baldock leading the conversation.

24 September | 11am–1pm | Daylesford Farm
Tickets are available via link in our bio – come and join us!

Let's have a moment to look at our floors!

Once considered simply the starting point for a room, flooring is increasingly becoming part of the design story itself.

From warmer, natural tones and tactile finishes to timeless patterns like herringbone and chevron, the latest flooring trends are all about bringing more warmth, texture and character underfoot.

Our latest blog takes a closer look at the flooring trends shaping interiors and the styles we’ll be seeing more of in the months ahead.

Made up with this beautiful project! 4 slab showstopper over in Preston.

Amazing how this one came about and shows the true power of BNI! Scott of @lloydsenergy and absolute BNI powerhouse behind the successful running of our chapter @bni_masters invited me to a Speed Networking event at Oldham Rugby Club. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed the event, that was extremely professionally and well ran! Respect, Scott! I met a lot of amazing people and had a few people to get in touch with to help one another with our businesses! A couple of days later, I got a phone call from a gentleman who said that I’d met his son at the event and that he was in the process of getting a full renovation done and part of that renovation was this beautiful kitchen, by a very prestigious and exclusive kitchen company/interior company. They have their own supplier that they use, but they really liked one of the colours on my website, by @crlstone . We exchanged emails, pricing and coordination for months, and this stunning job was the result!

4 slabs of breathtaking beauty! The material is 30mm Statuario Bianco Quartz on this beautiful kitchen and Utility. The client has sent me more drawings for a further project on the same property, a huge compliment I feel to the way we operate and work we do.

You’re only as good as your last job and that is why we treat every project like a test and that is why we continue to improve and always will.

It may seem like an “around the houses” post, but I wanted to highlight the power of networking, the power of BNI (as it’s a huge part of my life), the power of giving great service and the power of doing great work every time! Complacency is cancerous and should never be allowed to creep into your life of business.

Extremely grateful to Scott for organising and inviting me to the event, to the clients for their trust and their business and to everyone who played a vital role in the execution of this beautiful project. I can’t wait to see it complete!

Get in touch today to see how we can help you bring your dream projects to life with natural stone, quartz and porcelain surfaces

There’s a lot that goes into delivering a kitchen like this.

On a new-build project, every element needs to arrive, fit and be completed at exactly the right stage – from services and lighting to joinery, stonework, appliances and finishes. Without careful coordination, small delays or missed details can quickly affect the wider programme, budget and final result.

Our project management brings all of those moving parts together. We coordinate trades and specialists, monitor progress, resolve issues before they become problems and keep the original design moving forward on site. It means you have one experienced team overseeing the detail, maintaining momentum and protecting the quality of the finished space.

Because a successful new build isn’t just about how it looks at the end. It’s about having the right process, communication and expertise in place throughout.

If you’re planning a new build and want a team to manage the detail from the earliest stages through to final finish, get in touch. We’d love to talk about how we can help bring your plans to life.

Thank you, Patricia and Hugh, for your very kind words. It has been a pleasure working with you both.

This project involved the careful renovation of the kitchen, bathroom, entrance hall, bedroom and conservatory of a beautiful farmhouse.

Alongside the new Martin Moore kitchen, the project included @heritage.tiles flooring, @marlboroughtiles splashback, Taj Mahal granite worktops and the addition of some wonderful decorative ceiling artwork in the conservatory.

Projects like this are always a collaborative effort, and we’d like to thank everyone involved:

Interior design: @viterbo_interior_design
Kitchen: @martinmooredesign
KS Plastering, GRC Heating & Plumbing, PG Whitney & Son Electrical

And the whole Moulding team who brought it together: Paul, Steve, Casey, Wayne, Shaun, Josh, Dave, Matt, Andy, Mark, Robbie, Paul and Neil.

We’re delighted to hear that Phase Two is already planned for 2027, and we look forward to returning.
