I WAS A COACH BEFORE I HAD A GYM. I WAS AN ATHLETE BEFORE I WAS A COACH.

Long before Athlete HQ existed, I knew I wanted to help athletes become more than they thought they could be.

It started coaching youth football in high school around 2011.

Over the years, that passion took me through college football, earning my kinesiology degree at Indiana University, training athletes through GetFitWithWit and coaching at facilities including Anytime Fitness, RALVIS, 10 Fitness, LA Fitness, and D1 Training Carmel.

Different facilities. Different athletes. Different experiences.

But the same purpose.

To help people discover what they’re capable of.

On March 1, 2025, that journey became Athlete HQ.

A place I could call my own. A place where young athletes could develop their speed, strength, explosiveness and confidence.

But I never wanted Athlete HQ to be just another gym.

I wanted it to be a place where athletes are challenged, supported and held to a higher standard.

Where their progress is measured.

Where their goals matter.

Where they learn lessons that extend beyond sports.

Everything I’ve learned over the years has helped shape what we’re building here in Arcadia.

And we’re only getting started.

ATHLETE HQ — THE HOME OF THE ATHLETE. 🔴⚪

If you’re looking for a place where your athlete can develop with purpose, I’d love to show you what we’re building.

YOUR SEASON IS ENDING. YOUR DEVELOPMENT SHOULDN’T. 🔴⚪

Every athlete finishes a season with something they wish they could’ve done better.

Getting to the ball a step faster.

Being stronger through contact.

Jumping higher. Changing direction quicker. Competing with more confidence.

But here’s the question most athletes never answer:

What do you actually need to improve to become a better athlete?

Because showing up to the gym and working hard isn’t the same as training with a purpose.

At Athlete HQ, we believe every athlete deserves to know where they stand, what they’re working toward and whether they’re making progress.

That’s why we emphasize:

⚡ PERFORMANCE TESTING — Know your starting point.

💪 PURPOSEFUL TRAINING — Develop speed, strength, explosiveness, and athleticism.

📈 MEASURABLE PROGRESS — Track development instead of relying on guesswork.

Swipe to see average improvements recorded from athletes coached by Coach Marty. ➡️

These aren’t promises of overnight success. They’re examples of what consistent, structured development can accomplish.

Whether your fall season is finished or you’re preparing for winter sports, don’t let another offseason go by without a plan.

YOUR NEXT SEASON STARTS WITH WHAT YOU DO NOW.

24 WORKOUTS. 29 SPOTS CLIMBED. ⚡🔥

Everett L. wanted his own hype video. After 24 workouts at Athlete HQ, I think he’s earned it!

At just 9 years old, Everett is working toward becoming a faster, stronger and more confident athlete.

And the work is showing.

📈 Elementary Overall Ranking: 51st → 22nd

🏆 29 spots climbed out of 85 elementary athletes!

⚡ Speed development

💪 Strength and explosiveness

🔥 Confidence built through hard work

Between baseball, swimming and school, Everett continues making time to develop himself as an athlete.

What I love most isn’t just the ranking. It’s seeing a young athlete commit to something, show up consistently and discover what he’s capable of.

24 workouts down. So much more ahead.

Keep climbing, Everett. This one’s for you! 💪🔴⚪

THE WALL JUST GOT STRONGER. 🔴⚪

Welcome to the Athlete HQ Wall of Fame, Giovanni C.! 💪

At just 16 years old, Giovanni is a sophomore football player and wrestler with some serious ambitions, including working toward becoming a nationally ranked Top 50 wrestler. Previously top 5 in 8th grade.

And he’s already bringing some impressive strength to Athlete HQ.

🏆 225 LB BENCH — 1 OF 210 ATHLETES

💪 315 LB Deadlift

💪 225 LB Squat

⚡ 66.49 Overall Rating

📈 17 of 210 Overall | 13 of 49 High School Athletes

But these numbers are only his starting point.

Giovanni wants to develop the explosive power, strength, and body control necessary to compete at the next level.

And when I asked him what his “why” was, he didn’t hesitate.

“God.” 🙏

Big goals. A strong foundation. And a purpose behind the work.

That’s what I love about coaching. Every athlete walks through our doors with different abilities, different ambitions and their own reason for wanting to become better.

Giovanni, welcome to the family. I’m excited to see how far you’re willing to take this.

HOW DOES YOUR ATHLETE STACK UP? 👀⚡

Think your athlete is fast? Explosive? Stronger than the competition?

Let’s find out.

We’ve tested 210 athletes throughout our coaching history, tracking speed, strength, agility, and explosiveness.

The numbers on Slide 2 aren’t our records or best performances. They’re AVERAGES from elementary, middle school, and high school athletes.

Some athletes are above them. Some are below them. And every athlete has room to develop.

That’s why we test. To establish a starting point, identify strengths and weaknesses, and build a plan to improve.

🚨 FREE 1-ON-1 ASSESSMENTS WON’T LAST.

As fall athletes return and our training schedule fills, we won’t be able to continue offering free individual performance assessments.

If you’ve been curious about where your athlete stands, now is the time to find out.

✅ Individual performance testing
✅ Results explained and compared with relevant athletes
✅ A clear direction for development
