Relax with an onsen after a day of exploring Japan 🇯🇵♨️

After a day of sightseeing, unwind in the natural hot spring at Super Hotel Osaka Natural Hot Springs. It’s the perfect way to relax before a good night’s sleep. 😌💤

It’s also the only one among all 178 Super Hotel locations in Japan to offer both a natural hot spring and a sauna. ♨️🧖

Many Super Hotel locations are near train stations, making them a convenient and affordable choice for your trip to Japan. 🚉✨

Note: Filming inside the onsen was done with special permission. Photography and video recording are generally prohibited.

Winter in Hokkaido brings an adorable highlight at Otaru Aquarium. ❄️

During the Penguin Snow Walk, happening only in winter, penguins waddle across snowy paths while visitors watch in delight. Surprisingly, they sometimes wander off course, so if you catch that moment, you’re in luck! 🐧📸

It’s a heartwarming experience for families and visitors of all ages, having magical winter memories in Hokkaido’s snowy wonderland. ✨

There’s this Japanese philosophy called ichigo ichie which honors the unrepeatable nature of a moment and it reminds us to be fully present in the moment because we will never ever get to experience things in the exact way. With the fixed timeline that comes with our contracts as JET Programme ALT’s, we know that most parts about our lives here in Japan are just passing through—the job, the routines, the teachers we work with at our schools, even the friends we make along the way.

I guess that’s why I really can’t help but feel so giddy and grateful every time we get the chance to see each other and catch up even if we have to sit through series of meetings the entire day for a handful of times every year.

I’m really glad that I’m slowly learning to take life one day at a time. No rush, no deadlines, no stressing over reaching whatever finish line I used to set for myself.

Just living in the moment.

@marvintransit said it best—no two temples or shrines in Japan are ever the same 🏯✨ Tag someone who’d temple-hop with you and actually *get it*! 🇯🇵🌸

📌 Before you go:
• Kyoto has over 1,600 temples, each with its own history and energy
• Visit Fushimi Inari early for peace and glowing torii gates
• Kiyomizu-dera at sunset? Unreal golden light and city views
• Collect goshuin (temple stamps) as travel keepsakes
• Respect local etiquette—quiet voices, modest dress, and no shoes indoors

It's officially rainy season in Japan! But what better way to celebrate my birthday than with volleyball indoors and convenience store ice cream!!!

Thank you @cchiippss for helping make this happen. It was the best Saturday!!! And I hope your broken finger miraculously gets better pronto!

Grateful to all the people and new friends I've met through volleyball (since 2023)! Love you all and thanks for making my life a lot better and a little more active with a sport I loooove!
