#FlashbackFriday to 2018 when I was still advocating for young people to be heard, seen and acknowledged for their positives.

My passion for young people goes as far back as 1992 when I started "Keep The Dream Alive" (Breaking the cycle of re-offending). I was passionate about keeping youths that got released from prison from re-offending. It involved working with parents too especially mothers. Now fast-forward 2026, and #MATA 'Mothers At The Altar' was birthed and God is doing wonders through His Agenda. 🙏

Follow @mothersatthealtar and see the work continued as cycles will be broken and statistics will be altered at the altar 🙏

Understanding the root causes of trauma is the first step towards healing. When we look beyond behaviour and seek to understand the pain, fear and experiences beneath it, we can respond with compassion rather than judgement.
Healing begins when we address the root, not just the symptoms. Let’s create safe spaces where young people feel heard, understood, supported and loved. 🙏🏽

We were inspired to create this post. Thank you Pst. R. A. 🙌

So last weekend was spent presenting a couple of awards at the recently concluded @zenithglobalhealth Awards founded by the delightful @maryakangbe 👏🏼👏🏼

One of the award recipients that stood out for me was this man right here @taadelodun 🏆👏🏼
His story, for me, was mind-blowing. I sat there with my bestie @cloverlin1 and thought "What a powerful testimony".
I applaud him and would give a standing ovation every time I hear him tell it. 👏🏼👏🏼

For anyone wondering what his story was about, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you, reach out and ask him 😁
