Sunday marked Day 1 of our 2026 MONOTHON Print Week! It’s our 27th year of monotype printmaking together in the studios, and we’re so grateful to everyone who comes together to make this annual celebration possible.

Every MONOThON brings new ideas, unexpected moments, and plenty of contemporary printmaking. We can’t wait to see what this week brings!

Follow along as the prints take shape, and save the date for November 7, when we’ll celebrate the artists and artwork created during Print Week at our 27th Annual MONOTHON Benefit Auction & Party.

Find details on our website under “Events” or through the link in our Instagram bio!

Friday of Monothon Print Week, one more full day with another two sessions tomorrow to close out the main Print Week, then Youth Monothon on Sunday. As happens every year, the early part of the week seems like AGES ago. We’ve had 70 different people in-house so far, being sure not to double-count those who participated in more than one session or on more than one day. It is a “marathon of monotype printmaking” and as the final stretch is in view, it REALLY feels like a last push is needed to get to the finish line. It’s close! I cannot wait to see all of the prints displayed together at the end of the month. This year really has some show-stoppers.

lucky me for a birth-day/week when my wishes came true to go on berry picking excursions and make a bread basket (!) and celebrate with my family and besties and eat cake and more cake and drink bandol and all the other good things.
