If you’re the kind of girl who used to raid her mum’s wardrobe, try on all her clothes and play dress up, I think we could have a lot of fun together. 💕

Because honestly, that’s what I want taking photographs with me to feel like. We’re just grown women playing pretend in much nicer clothes.

Haley’s wedding morning at Chateau Denmark is a perfect example of how we can mix things up.
The girls were getting ready, mimosas were flowing, pizzas were arriving and I was photographing it all as it happened.

But when I saw the pizza, I thought, well, that would make a brilliant bridal portrait. And since Haley’s an optician, we had to use some of her glasses as props too.

And that’s the thing. You can have all those lovely candid moments AND make a little time to play, create something together and have fun with your portraits.
I know some of my photographs can look quite serious, maybe even a little intimidating, but I promise you, we’re most likely just playing dress up and having a laugh.

You don’t have to choose between natural moments and beautiful planned portraits. We can do both. And sometimes it only takes a minute.

Our very own Victoria’s Secret angel🤍🪽

The hair and makeup, the dress, the energy… EVERYTHING about @kelly.hooton__ bridal look was a vibe✨.

A little full-circle moment for me too. Many moons ago, myself and Kelly’s sister Ciara used to work for Clinique and so when Kelly messaged me asking me to be part of her wedding morning, it really was such an honour.

And what a morning it was. The loveliest girls and suppliers, the best atmosphere (I think we were crying with laughter at one point lol) and a bride who looked like she’d stepped straight off the Victoria’s Secret runway.

Kelly, you were an absolute DREAM. Thank you for so much trusting me with your bridal glam. 🤍

I can’t hack 3 day hangovers anymore 🥲

I love my job but one thing I’ve found the hardest since having children is being here there and everywhere at the multitude of events my clients are invited to. It’s part and parcel of what I do and don’t get me wrong they are always beneficial - but please remind me that next time, 2 glasses of wine is more than enough 😂

What I love about photographing bridal prep 💄

I’m not just there to photograph the bride, I’m there to document the atmosphere and the people around her. It’s the best time to get to know the bride and bridal party if I haven’t already met the bride before the day.

The emotions of a bridal morning make for the most beautiful photographs. There can be some nerves and excitement but also reactions to the dress reveal and key moments like mum helping bride get on her dress.

I love meeting the hair and makeup artists and photographing them working their magic! @mascaralogan and @weddinghairbygracelynch were fantastic on the morning of Jade & Luke’s wedding definitely contributed to the vibe of the morning.

If anyone is camera shy it gets them used to having me around and by the time it gets to the ceremony they barely notice I am there

And let’s be honest, it’s therapeutic to watch hair and makeup being done! 😂
