We’re glad to introduce the film by Masha Kechaeva “Walking in the Time of Uncertainty” that premiered at the Roxie in 2023 and was selected as a semifinalist at New York Indie Shorts awards. The film was shot in San Francisco Bay Area and in Death Valley. In her video essay Masha channels a state of liminality, where protagonist passes through a series of increasingly dream-like environments, devoid of people but full of possibility.

✨ Join us for BEING LIMINAL BEING, a shorts program of experimental film and video works screening at the Roxie Theater on July 21st at 6 pm.
