TODAY’S PSA WITH HELP FROM THE HOMIES! I’m having the hardest time articulating how much it meant to me. From the line outside before we opened, to the absolute packed house the entire day, to the web support, to each and every note, squeal, scream, tear, word, hug, and feedback. So I asked for some help and got some videos from my people which you’ll see here.

I’m emotionally fulfilled , exhausted, and grateful. Yesterday was truly a day I will never forget as long as I live. This community is healing no matter what the status of the world is.

Thank you to my family, my friends, our customers (both local and web), our partners, our collaborators, and our team. There is no Relic Music without any of you.

Note: I’ve not watched any of the participants videos they sent because I want to see them at the same time as all of you.

Today is the day….

Come party with the best people in the world…

Come play some of the best gear in the world…

Come visit one of the best shops in the world…
(We might be a little biased on this one)

It’s going to be one to remember and I can’t believe we are here already.

See you at 11.

We can’t believe we are saying this, but this week our humble shop turns 5 years old. And the old cliché of “it went fast, seems like yesterday, etc.” holds true. But thinking about what the world looked like 5 years ago and what it looks like today both on a hyper local and hyper global scale, shows me that anything/everything could happen in a 5-year time span and it’s hitting me like a ton of bricks.

We didn’t have a party for our 4th (because I was focused on helping out with Wood Wire Volts), but we needed to throw one this year. Our community (builders, bands, customers, shop, neighbors, family, and friends) needs to be together now more than ever and my gratitude for this amazing community can never be quantifiable.

Yes, there will be more limited/exclusive/hand-painted/special pedals under one roof than ever before probably anywhere; yes there will be giveaways; yes there will be a great free show featuring some of my favorite people after hours; and yes there will be special prices and HUGE surprises…but MOST importantly, there will be you and us and our community and the hangs.

Be here for the hangs.

BUILDER SPOTLIGHT 🎛️
First with DIY projects and now with a line of production pedals, @maskaudioelectronics is there expression of the love of the collision between electronics and sound. Mask Audio Electronics makes the things they wants to see out in the world and finds those who share the love of fuzz and noise. I have two of his fine devices and can attest to their sonic excellence.
Come check out and demo these fine stompboxes Thursday, October 22nd at @thegovernmentcenter !

Built this small prototype board as a proof of concept last week from 1/8” perforated steel and cedar. I wanted to see if I could build a modular ‘locking-system’ board with readily available materials. The pedals are mounted through the steel sheet using m6 elevator bolts.
