💥 Genau hier setzt Ready. Set. Coach. an:

Had a great time at the IBJJF Europeans. And finally back in Lisbon! I wasn't able to compete this time, but was amazing to support and coach the students. All of them gave their 100% and displayed great jiu-jitsu. As always, I am really proud of this team. Not just the competitors, but everyone who shows up to class and help the competitors to reach this level. And also really proud to see how good the vibes are. It was a lot of fun to spend time with these amazing people in this trip. Huge congrats to everyone and I am looking forward to the next one!

🔥 Finally 🔥 the IBJJF 2025 Euros breakdown you were waiting for!!🏅🥳

🎖️ Leonide Massine was the first to compete, and he won his first two fights with impressive performances, submitting both of them. 😮‍💨 Leo ended up losing in his third fight against a tough opponent but did great in a very competitive bracket. 👏

🎖️ Yining Liu showed really good jiu-jitsu in her first match. She executed her game plan and earned her positions. Although she got caught in a last-minute submission, she put up a fight worth watching 👏

🎖️ Anna-Fee did great in her first match. She got to use her guard effectively and won the match with a very tight Kimura. Faced a good opponent in the finals and got second place in the IBJJF Europeans in her first try with purple belt 😱. This was her second Europeans medal in a row. 👏

🎖️ Henning Arndt had an impressive performance in his first fight, scoring 16×0 🤯 and got a submission towards the end of the match. In the second fight, he got caught in a submission against a very tough opponent, but still earned our applause.👏

🎖️ Andrean Roedyanto was unfairly disqualified in his first fight. Until the DQ, the match was tied and very competitive, in a high-level jiu-jitsu displayed.👌

🎖️ Emily Günzler had a stellar performance winning gold in both Weight and Open classes. 😍 After being a brownbelt for only two weeks, she submitted all of her opponents in the tournament and won double gold in the IBJJF Europeans🔥. 👏

The tournament was great, but the trip as a whole was even better. Everyone showed good jiu-jitsu and proved that they belong in this level of competition.

Aside from the competition part, it is always amazing to see how much of a team we are. Always supporting and cheering our teammates on the mat, and having a great time getting to know lisbon and spending time together. ❤️😊🙌

Special thanks to the organizers of @ibjjf for putting on such a great competition, and of course to our head coach @felipecancadobjj for being there to support our team mates every step of the way 🙏
