Ever since before I had kids or became an illustrator, I’ve loved children’s books. I used to casually collect them, especially on trips to Japan, where picture book illustrations often have this loose and artistic quality or otherwise have licence to be quite unique and strange. I never really considered making one until last year, when I proposed collaborating on one with my husband @samvoulters, who can write. He was jobless at the time, so this idea naturally escalated into starting our own children’s publisher 😅 Luckily, we were just naive enough to actually go for it… I’m not sure how we managed it, but we now have 14 books set out to publish next year with global distribution deals! Creating children’s books with my favourite illustrators and artists is the best job in the world. Here are some of the books we’ve been working on. Please follow @doremi_books for updates on our business📚 I can’t wait to share more!
