Busy start to MLK Jr. Weekend, starting with @votboston speaking out against ICE’s illegal and violent attempts to tear our community apart, and then celebrating our diversity with our Taiwanese and Chinese community’s preparations for Lunar New Year. Please join our community at our Vigil for Renee Nicole Good at Medford City Hall this Tuesday at 5:30pm, followed by a vote on the City Council on my resolution to step up protections against ICE’s upcoming attacks on our neighbors.

January 20th marks the end of year one of another Trump presidency. Trump has waged an all out assault on the working class through bombings and sanctions abroad and murders and kidnapping domestically. This administration has committed war crimes against 7 countries, threatened our access to food and healthcare, and kidnapped our people off our streets.

Just in 2026 alone, the Trump administration kidnapped President Maduro of Venezuela and oversaw the ICE invasion of Minneapolis that resulted in the murder of Renee Good. We cannot sit idly by while these attacks continue! No Kings, No Killers, no Kidnappers!
