You probably didn’t know this about me. this was my first stage, ever.

My first stage was built for Doof Festival, 2016. That stage was the first project I did through @plazmalab and also how I got into @plazmalab Plazmalab studio in the first place.

I got the chance almost by accident. Maayan Sokol @master_cylinder,the the technical designer for the Doof Festival’s stages during the same years that the PlasmaLab artists were designing and building them. They were stuck without an idea for the main stage and decided to gamble on me. I had one day to come up with something. The brief: a kids’ room nightmare, toys, and Alice in Wonderland. I lit up and grabbed it.
I was very excited when @idanplazmalab and Sokol loved that sketch.

This stage means something specific to me. It’s autobiographical. It tells the story of the moment I broke off a life path that had me chained and controlled, until I freed myself and took a sharp turn toward freedom, independence, and self expression. I’m grateful for that choice every day, no matter how messy and unsure I still was along the way (still am, sometimes).

Lucy winks at Alice and her white rabbit, the story I still draw so much inspiration from, my personal bible for the inward journey. I love building stages, partly for the creative chaos of it, but mostly for the dancing. There’s magic in telling a visual story to the people dancing in front of it. When I surrender to the music and become the movement, I travel too, just like Alice.

This is the most complex stage I’ve designed to date, and I’m still proud of it every time I look at it.

I designed this stage for @plazmalab , and built it together with the Plazmalab team while working there.

The brief came in last-minute, about 2.5 months before the event, after the original team’s plan fell through. The studio’s direction: organic, hand-touched, built from arches that hold each other up.

With no 3D software experience, I designed the entire structure inside VR, sculpting it in real scale before a single piece was built. The theme that year was Secret Geometry, so the organic arches needed to meet a more engineered, symmetrical language.

Built by hand, arch by arch, over two and a half months.
In 2016, I stood in front of this exact stage and told myself: one day, I’ll build this. Two years later, I did.

Our machanic beduin steampunk camel is finally out for a ride! Created for Purim parade in Jerusalem, that unfortunately will happen only next year.
But at least we got that glimpse of it for now.

Make Love | Midburn 2025

שתי נשים, לב זוהר אחד.
פסל מתכת, מואר מבפנים, יוצר שער של אהבה
בין יום ללילה, בין עוצמה לרכות.
ניצבות זו מול זו, יוצרות שער של חיבור ונוכחות.

הרוגע שבכאוס, הרכות שבפלדה,
העגלות שבפוליגון, הספירלה של קווי האור.

אלפים עברו דרכו – רוקדים, מחייכים, מרגישים.
עיניים נוצצות.
בתוך כל מה שקורה סביבנו,
זה היה רגע של יופי ותקווה.
נקודת אור בתוך החשכה.

תודה לכל מי שהגיע והרגיש את האהבה.

Two women, one glowing heart.
A towering sculpture of steel, glowing from within, Forming a portal of love.
Between day and night, strength and softness.
Kneeling face to face, they create a gate of connection and presence.

The calmness within chaos,
The tenderness of metal,
The curves of the poligons
The spiraling lines of light.

Thousands passed through — dancing, smiling, feeling.
In the midst of everything happening around us,
this was a moment of beauty and hope.
Smiling shiny eyes.
A point of light in the darkness.

Thank you to everyone who came and felt the love.
