Written on my mirror for over four years in red lipstick it says “Stay Open”.

This is, stay vulnerable.

Vulnerability is not just showing emotion. It’s sitting with it. It’s being authentic with what you’re feeling and what you’re communicating. It’s trusting yourself enough to feel it. Trusting the other to hold it.

Contracting only keeps us closed to the human experience. Contracting only separates us more from each other and from reality as it is.

Staying open is becoming water in its purest and most transparent form with its capacity to transform and receive.

Porqué cuando se trata de la salud mental y emocional a veces lo dejamos de último?

Vivimos en una una lista eterna de qué hacereres… o en un estado de congelamiento donde no logramos tomar acción.

El sistema nervioso queda crónicamente en activación o congelamiento sin capacidad de fluctuación natural.

No quiere decir estar siempre en calma. Quiere decir poder fluctuar entre activación y pausa. Esto es regulación.

Aquí en @eljardinsonoro lo principal es crear un entorno donde el cuerpo (y el sistema nervioso) es capaz de bajar la guardia, capaz de soltar mecanismos de protección para así permitir que el sonido entre donde tiene que llegar.

El cuerpo responde. La energía responde. Cada célula tiene la capacidad de reordenarse hacia un estado de salud y armonía.

Aquí estás segura para explorar, sentir, viajar, procesar y sanar.

No journey is merely an outward expression of seeking direction.

Every journey goes into the deeper layers of who we are at the core.

It brings up questions that have barely been picked up long enough to be felt in every once of our body. The ones we constantly ignore.

And the mountain ~ Shasta ~ brings up in the psyche and the body many truths, some as deep as our human memory can go. Back to the beginning of time. To older civilizations. Older ways of relating, communicating, being.

Some are memories of our light bodies and pure harmony. Others are memories of trauma and separation.

Both come up.

The memory lays in the waters and the mountain.

For me, it came up as a purge! Purging through my body symptoms. Getting sick, being so dizzy, sick and in pain that I couldn’t even bear the sun or to walk long for the first few days. It was part of the process of how my body was calibrating to this energy portal.

Somatically, we present symptoms to release, to calibrate, to fine-tune our attention inward to every breath, even when it hurts.

This is how territories begin working their magic.

Sometimes the pilgrimage is not merely to a sacred portal, but to our own wounds, our own body. The body becomes the sacred pilgrimage.

As women, with all layers coming up, sometimes really unconsciously we begin to delve into deeper questions.

What’s our reflection to each other? What hurts? What part of me am I seeing in the other?
This is the larger constellation that begins to take place.

You become an observer of the body, the territory and the sacred space that connects all layers.

Gratitude to all the women, sisters, the land and waters

How long do we often wait….
To do the thing ?

To make a move, take that risk, book the flight, show up, be seen, speak up, take a stand, make art, write that book, release that song…

As if somehow procrastinating made it more perfect. As if time had it all covered in a time capsule, safe from the speculating eyes and scrutiny of unknown mouths.

But here, in the world of the living, time ticks. There is no capsule of time being held in its place while we perfect our craft. The craft is here and now. The craft lies in showing up as is.

Less refined, less hesitant, less in our heads about how perfect it is or what who knows who will say about it.

The art is letting art be, as a cyclical course of action that has an input and an output and is being born over and over again like the falling and rising sun.

I’ve had to die so many times to get to where I am. And getting here has taken guts, it has taken art in many forms. Forms which have also had to die into dust and sand to transform into glass, clear and transparent and fragile. Eternal.

I was saving these photos for my upcoming album. But here is now. And now is here.

Es un espacio creado por Felipe y yo (María Luisa) que une todas nuestras investigaciones místicas, musicales, artísticas y terapéuticas en una experiencia unificada.

La aromaterapia, colores, luces, frecuencias, conocimiento musical y tecnológico, técnicas somáticas y de respiración son parte de este VIAJE o contenedor, como nos gusta llamarlo.
Porque es como una nave que te permite viajar a otras dimensiones y a la vez te permite aterrizar y renacer desde un útero seguro y protegido.

Btw, this place brings up grief if it hasn’t been cleared in order to access the heart and lungs and then crown. It’s a grief portal that opens up what has not been held. Memories come up, dreams, and unhealed loss. Each as opportunities to integrate, bring to the surface, look deeper. As the heart softens when there is acceptance, forgiveness and joy is let back in.
