Welcoming Matej Anzin (@matejanzinart) to Edition 5 of the RTIA Show this September 17-20.

Born in Slovenia while still under the communist regime of former Yugoslavia, Matej Anzin started drawing and painting at an early age. He studied Slovenian late masters of Impressionism, which shaped his own style of painting and perception of art as a whole. After graduating from Industrial Design in Slovenia, he moved to California where he continued pursuing his art. He now resides in rural Washington where he draws inspiration from the picturesque Pacific Northwest.

Matej joins the Galleries & Studios segment of the RTIA Show next month.

A quick Seattle photo dump while I wait for my film to get developed. These days it feels rare to find myself in an unfamiliar city for quite so long. Thanks Seattle for the hospitality, I hope to be back before too long.

Watch as local artist @matejanzinart turns two of my favorite Aurora adventures into amazing paintings that will be on display @issaquahcoffee in the month of January. Both nights were unforgettable adventures with good friends. I’ve included raw video off my iPhone along with still images of the final product. Also a few images of the paintings which I can’t wait to see in person. If you purchase the paintings I will send you the videos so you can share the back story with your family and friends. Either way please share with Aurora lovers and chasers who may want to see this art, purchase this art or potentially commission @matejanzinart to reproduce a favorite moment of yours #artists #artistssupportingartists #aurora #northernlights #painting #photography #artbehindthescenes
