love is
feeding your partner,
hyping your best friend on her wedding day,
building a garden together,
dancing with friends while listening to old friends music,
meeting a beloved new member of the family,
laughing till you pee,
buying your mom a coffee,
strolling through streets where we grew up together.

A couple of my favorite 2023 moments. Friends, family, puppy love & lots of sunshine. Hoping 2024 is more of that plus an abundance of spiritual growth and even more kisses from @willmcquate ❤️

Can’t wait to see what the universe will teach me this year. Happy new year!

The act of making this pasta brought us great joy!

We took a journey through many variations of different pastas and sauces, taking turns making simple sauces with whatever ingredients we had on hand

The plate featured here is a thick cut pasta, with olive oil, sautéed beef heart, habañero pepper, garlic, parsley, and Parmigiano Reggiano.

Thank you to @elena_capousis
and @desparadawine for providing the inspiration for this meal and an excellent bottle to pair it with!

thanks to @cabincorn for passing along your knowledge and love of pasta making

~ this is what unconditional love looks like ~
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~ over six years ago when I was 19, like most, I was fresh with freedom & so unaware of what life's journey was to take me on ~
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~ First, I met @lanapaige working at our local natural food store in Richmond, Va. She was a shinny lady with a full head of dreads that brought me into the fold.
We smoked joints, listened to records & became instant "duh" friends.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Two months later I found myself living on the same block with what is now my forever family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~ Little did we know that we would be here six years later with our queen bee, Lana on her most magical day in Mexico celebrating her infinate love ~
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~ Lana swooped me up & showed me what life can look like when you not only trust the universe but trust yourself. How to speak boldly from an authentic voice & love fiercely.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I left the four walls of traditional college & began a journey that unwraveled me, widened my eyes & brought me closer to self, I thank you forever ~
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~ we now all live scattered across the states & moments like this are golden.
I wouldn't be where I am now without these angels that watch over me. You all keep me humble, challenge me to strive forward & love me unconditionally ~
