Now that she’s gone physically, I’m so glad back when she was 90 I got to record conversations with her, candid conversation lol she didn’t know I was recording. 30 plus minutes. This doesn’t even speak to the levels of her brilliance and creativity but it does speak to her WORK ETHIC, LOVE OF THE ARTS and she was very opinionated and valued education even tho she didn’t finish bc of the era this was in she resigned to raising her 7 kids after divorce! She didn’t want welfare, owned homes and cars and was in her right mind until the end…96!! We were blessed to have you that long. My son drew her a giraffe and I painted it…she loved it. She sang, played the piano and organ and could draw really well!!🐐 T.L.C. 🕊️🫶🏾 #family #love #wisdom #grandmas

Grateful for the Men’s Group at Union Church

I want to give a major shoutout to Union Church and the men’s group, “Walk in My Shoes.” This group has been an incredible blessing, allowing me to connect with other men who share a passion for God while navigating life’s challenges, worldly desires, and the call to selflessness.

As Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron,” and being part of this group has truly sharpened me on my spiritual journey. Through the fellowship, I’ve found a safe space to be honest about my past and current struggles, and the response has always been consistent and uplifting:
1. “Let’s see what the Bible says about it.”
2. “Let’s pray with you about it.”

This group embodies the victory that the Lord has promised us, and I am so thankful to walk this journey alongside such an incredible community.

Let’s keep pressing forward in faith!
