9 years of marching band has finally come to a close 🥹 the pride of mississippi is exactly what i needed in my life. my time in the pride has been nothing short of life changing. i am so entirely grateful for every experience i got to have being in this wonderful ensemble. i have learned so much about myself as well as about other people. the adrenaline that came with performing on fields bigger than i could ever imagine has filled me for a lifetime. performing in the pride of mississippi has been and always will be a part of who i am. i never wanted it to end, but all good things must come to an end at some point. i have cried more times than you know thinking about it all being over. thank you to the lifelong friends i have made along the way. thank you to my parents for being there at EVERY SINGLE game to support me. thank you to every audience member and fan that cheered us on. thank you to my cymbals for giving my bruises and cuts and broken bones in the most random places. thank you to the pride of mississippi for giving me everything and more. i love you @prideofmississippi 💌

Saturday, we distributed 155 sandwiches, 100 hygiene bags, clothes, water, and fresh fruit to the community in the Jackson State area! Thanks to you, over 75% of our materials were donated, and we raised $325!

We’re one step closer to our goal of a food secure Jackson!
