Live my life to the fullest (yeah) all my friends is the coolest (yeah)

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The idea man himself, Matty California sitting in Gill and I's old apartment working on January Jaguar. It's so fun having something filmed where you live. I think this was the first film of Matt's that I officially did music for. I could be mixing up the timeline but that sounds right.

Top of the Rock actually ended up being a great experience. I had dreams of going up to the top of the Empire State Building but then I was thinking that when I was up there I wouldn't be able to see the Empire State Building. So here we are at the top of Rockefeller Center. You can get drinks and just sit up there as long as you want. Matt took it to the next level and did the steel beam sitting experience, haha. He will be able to tell his grandchildren that he was one of those beam workers now. Love too see building x1000.

Our whole New York trip was officially started by talking about seeing Oh, Mary! (which we did by the way, Bowen Yang was absolutely excellent, as was the supporting cast. So, so funny) but the first thing we thought to actually DO when we got there was go to the Alligator Lounge. If you've seen any of Nathan Fielder's The Rehersal, you may be familiar, but if not, this place gives you a free personal cheese pizza with the purchase of a drink. And you can get two a night. And the pizza is actually SO good. Highly recommend you stop in if you're ever in the area.

In the Director’s Chair 🎬

We sat down with director Matthew Cassani to talk Pleasure Chest - where the idea came from, what’s behind the title, and a few things you might not expect. 👀

Late post! Sorry, but I was busy attending the premiere of Matt Cassani's latest and greatest feature film PLEASURE CHEST in LA. So proud of this guy and couldn't be more honored to be in constant collaboration with him over the years. I am in a car and getting car sick writing this so I will stop now. Love you Matt!

An oldie of Matt at the community center. I've seen this picture so many times that I had assumed I'd posted it already but it turns out I have not. A lot of things are like that, and my inability to consciously repeat myself probably stops me from sharing things sometimes. That's why I could never be a comedian. Imagine saying the same joke with a little smirk on your face. No thank you. I will play you the same song though. I will do that.

Had so much fun helping out Matt and Jim with their short film a couple months back. So cool seeing these very talented actors snap into form at the drop of a hat during our guerilla city filming spree. Love to be around people who are good at what they do. Let's do it again sometime, folks!

At some point Gill made the executive decision to get snacks for the bar after party, a decision that probably saved lives. We were posted up on the patio of Duke's eating a variety of chips and digging into the bushes for a secret White Claw 12 pack much to the dismay of the local bartenders. I think anything goes on your wedding night though.

I love taking pictures in supermarkets actually. Every time I do it feels a little illegal, I mean, it might be? I don't know. Shooting in a supermarket always reminds me of the Fake Plastic Trees music video. This probably would be more like that if it were in color. Anyways, Matt looks cool here. He had a great wedding fit.
