The underworld journey is part of life. The contrast that comes to life as we journey between the underworld and the heavenly realms is what makes life so rich and ripe with wholeness. Pain and beauty can walk hand in hand.

.. and thus, during the Venus retrograde cazimi, this song is released into the world. It embodies a deep representation of the journey to the underworld, of forgetting, of the tired eyes of those awakening, and the great release of remembering once again.

This song is called Choir of Angels. I wrote it 5 years ago and it’s been close to my heart ever since. Right before I started recording my album, (Re)birth, that was released in July, Matthew DeRubertis and I shared medicine songs in my backyard, among the trees of the CVNP. As we sunk in, I was drawn to play this song. I stumbled through the chords and sang from the soul. I had no idea at the time that we would co-create this song together in the recording studio. This song is being released as a single and will be included on my next album.

Choir of Angels is available to stream on bandcamp -link in bio

Thank you @chaninicholas @chani.app for the astro inspiration to launch this song at THIS particular time 🫶🏽

Thank you ‬ @seer.music @matthewderubertis for bringing this song to life!

Hello people who follow me on instagram. I have been pretty silent here the last month, and I am posting again mostly to advertise a workshop that Matthew and I are doing next week. It is inexpensive and you’ll get to work through some life stickiness in a shameless container, and learn about how to apply this in your journey with Kambo medicine. The reason anyone comes to medicine is for change, not because of peptides. There's no quick and easy way through change, but we can make a start together.

In September I was in Peru again on dieta. I got to be with my teachers and the community jungle family I had not seen in four years. It was a very deep experience is just the start of a lot of other big changes coming into my life. I’m contemplating how and when I’ll share about them. Keeping the sacred a bit close to my chest right now.

So here is the thing that I am marketing on this marketing machine that you can come to if you want to talk about some real shit with us. Here is also a photo of a flower I took. Enjoy.

Join us for a special Yoga Nidra class at 7 PM November 1st with Matthew DeRubertis, and experience the power of deep rest. 🧘‍♀️

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that brings you into a state between waking and sleep, allowing your body to rest, your mind to quiet, and your nervous system to unwind. It’s an opportunity to step away from the noise, release stress, and reconnect with yourself.

No experience needed. No movement required. Just come as you are, get comfortable, and let yourself rest.

Matthew is an Akron-based musician, yoga teacher, rock climbing guide, and Kambô practitioner who has been teaching yoga and leading workshops since 2015.

You spend so much time pouring into everyone else. This is your invitation to pour back into yourself.

Kauzeni Lyamba is a rhythmic force! ⚡️ @drkau

All the way from Tanzania. He’s a multi instrumentalist and contributed massively to Man in Rhythm album.

Percussion, Saxophone, Flute, drums, mbira/kalimba, guitar, vocals, you name it- he can play it.
He’s hard to find and always on the go. So I’m forever grateful for his contributions to the upcoming record.

Here’s a snippet from Kauzeni’s songwriting as he’s been working on his own album. This was after long hours of recording and Kauzeni brought everyone into the room for this fun rhythmic session.

We don’t strive for perfection
But rather connection,
We play energy
Not notes,
The moment is the messenger,
So we say
“I love hearing your spirit!”

@weareattaboy for their Final stop in the SILT tour shot in Cleveland.

Atta Boy as always was phenomenal and I can’t describe how amazing it’s been to take photos for them for the handful of shows I was present for. Those shows will forever be some of my favorite memories and I am incredibly grateful. This experience reignited my passion for photography and I’m excited to see where I go from here
