POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I met Matt when I was 19. We married in 2005. And ten years later, in 2015, we signed divorce papers. 💔

Betrayal on both sides. Trust shattered. Everyone around us agreed it was over. And honestly? There were days I believed the lie we were over, PERMANENTLY

But here's what I didn't understand back then…

The enemy doesn't waste his heaviest attacks on marriages that carry nothing. He goes after the ones God has marked. The ones whose story, once restored, would set other couples free.

Looking back, the signs were there all along:

1️⃣ The attack hit right when we started growing spiritually
2️⃣ The enemy went after our trust AND our intimacy at the same time
3️⃣ Something in me still felt a pull to fight, even when it made no sense
4️⃣ Our story had the power to set others free when was restored
5️⃣ The voices telling us to walk away got louder the more we prayed
6️⃣ Shame wanted us hiding, but God kept calling us into the light
7️⃣ Deep down, I knew this wasn't how our story was supposed to end

In 2018, we stood before God and said "I do" again. 🔥

What hell tried to destroy, God rebuilt with His own hands. And the very thing the enemy used to break us is now the testimony we use to help couples fight for their marriages.

That's exactly why Matt and I created the Kingdom Marriage Mastermind. 🤍 It's weekly group coaching for Christian couples who refuse to give up, where we walk you through biblical, Spirit-led coaching, soul healing, and deliverance so you can stop surviving and start rebuilding. You don't have to fight this battle alone.

So if betrayal has touched your marriage, hear me, sis: it doesn't mean you missed God. It may mean the enemy saw what your marriage carries before you did.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood…" (Ephesians 6:12)

The enemy is strategic.

He doesn't attack random marriages.
He attacks the ones God has marked.

And if you are a faith-filled wife who has been carrying your covenant through your husband's lukewarm season — through the betrayal, through the silence, through the seasons where you wondered if God even heard you —

I need you to hear this:

The intensity of the attack on your marriage is not evidence that God got it wrong.
It's evidence of what He placed on it.

The enemy is counting on you giving up before the breakthrough.

He knows what's on the other side of your marriage being restored.

The testimony that sets other couples free.

The generational pattern of covenant your children are watching you model.

The Kingdom assignment your marriage was always supposed to carry.

He cannot afford to let you get there.
So he comes after your intimacy.

Your trust.
Your husband's heart.

Your belief that restoration is still possible.
Don't give him what he came for.
Matt and I were divorced in 2015.
There was betrayal on both sides.
Everyone around us said it was over.
God wasn't finished.

He restored what we handed Him in pieces.
He rebuilt what we thought was gone forever.
And what He built on the other side of the hardest season of our lives is better than anything we had before.

That is not a highlight reel.
That is our testimony.

And it is the foundation of everything we do in the Kingdom Marriage Mastermind.

For the faith-filled wife who is still standing.
For the husband who is finally ready to show up.
For the couple who knows their marriage is about more than just surviving.

Inner healing. Deliverance. Covenant rebuilt on something that actually holds.
Both of you. Together. Willing.

Comment MARRIAGE below if you're believing for restoration and you're ready to fight for it with the right support. 🕊️

Don't give up before the breakthrough.

I know what it's like to look at your husband and see the man God created him to be, even when his actions aren't reflecting it. ❤️‍🔥

I know what it's like to love someone deeply while being deeply wounded by them.

To pray for a man you barely recognize anymore.

To wonder if the man you fell in love with is still somewhere underneath the pain, pride, brokenness, and destructive patterns.

Because I've been that woman.

Our marriage survived infidelity, betrayal, and ultimately a divorce in 2015.

But God wasn't finished writing our story.

We remarried in 2018, and the man I'm sitting beside today is not the same man I divorced.

But I'm not the same woman either.

God didn't just restore our marriage. He began healing the broken places in BOTH of us.

There was repentance. There was forgiveness. There was deliverance. There was surrender. And there was a whole lot of dying to ourselves.

We had to stop trying to change each other and allow God to change us.

And woman of God, I want you to hear me…

The man your husband is today does not have to be the man he remains.

God can soften a hardened heart.
He can break destructive cycles.
He can restore integrity where trust was shattered.
He can raise up a husband who leads with humility, loves sacrificially, and puts Christ at the center of his home.

But restoration takes more than one person praying. It takes willing hearts, genuine repentance, and changed behavior.

And whether your husband is ready or not, God can begin a beautiful work of healing in YOU.

Today, Matt and I get to walk alongside couples who are facing some of the very battles that once destroyed us.

We didn't get our old marriage back. God built something new between the same two people.

And if you're in a season where you're believing for restoration, rebuilding after betrayal, or longing for a Christ-centered marriage, we'd love to walk alongside you.

Because what looks like the end of your story may not be the end of what God can do. 🕊

Your spouse may not be where you are spiritually right now.

Maybe you’re the one praying.
You’re the one seeking God.
You’re the one hungry for more.
You’re the one trying to bring Jesus into your marriage.

And your spouse just… isn’t there.

That can feel incredibly lonely.

But their spiritual season is not automatically grounds to give up on your covenant.

Marriage is not two people running separate races under the same roof. God says the two become ONE flesh. (Genesis 2:24)

And if the Holy Spirit is working in YOU, don’t underestimate what He can be doing in your spouse—even when you can’t see the fruit yet.

Paul even speaks directly to marriages where one spouse believes and the other does not:

“The unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband…” — 1 Corinthians 7:14

And just a few verses later:

“How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?” — 1 Corinthians 7:16

You do not have to drag your spouse into a relationship with God.

You don’t have to preach at them every day.

And you certainly cannot be their Holy Spirit.

But you CAN pray.
You CAN live differently.
You CAN love faithfully.
You CAN keep growing.
You CAN create an atmosphere in your home where the presence of God is welcome.

Sometimes faith in marriage looks like having the patience to let God work on your spouse on His timeline instead of yours.

We have watched God transform hearts, restore marriages, and move in situations that looked impossible.

Don’t mistake “God hasn’t done it yet” for “God isn’t doing anything.”

Your spouse has a Savior.

And it’s not you.

If your marriage is struggling because you feel spiritually disconnected from your spouse, comment MARRIAGE or send us a DM. Matt and I would love to talk with you about what biblical marriage restoration and support could look like in this season.

You don’t have to be divorced to feel like your marriage is already over.

Sometimes divorce begins years before anyone ever says the word.

It looks like sleeping next to each other but feeling miles apart. The same fights with no resolution. The silence. The lies, the secrets, the lack of trust, the resentment, the loss of intimacy, the addiction, the betrayal.

Two people slowly becoming strangers under the same roof.

Nobody walks down the aisle thinking… “In 2 years, 7 years, 10 years… we might get divorced."

You get married believing this person will be your forever. But when wounds go unhealed, sin goes unaddressed, forgiveness gets withheld, and Christ is no longer at the center, cracks can become fractures.

Until one day you look at the person you once couldn’t imagine living without and wonder how you got here.

But hear me: broken does NOT mean finished.

Even divorce doesn’t always have to be the final chapter.

Broken people can heal. Sin can be repented of and forgiven. Trust can be rebuilt. Intimacy can return. Hearts can soften. Two people can be transformed by Christ.

I know because Matt and I lived it.

We didn’t almost divorce. We divorced.

There was betrayal, brokenness and wounds on both sides. But God brought us back together. We remarried.

And we didn’t rebuild the marriage we had before. We became different people and built something new.

So maybe the question isn’t only, “Can my marriage be restored?”

Maybe it’s: Are we willing to surrender? To heal? To repent? To forgive? To do the work?

Because God is not intimidated by the mess. But restoration requires participation.

And sometimes that means admitting, “We need help.”

God often uses people who have already walked through the fire to reach back and help someone else through it.

That’s why Matt and I now walk alongside Christian couples. We know betrayal. We know divorce. And we know what it takes to rebuild when everything looks over.

If you and your spouse are ready to fight for your marriage instead of continuing to fight each other, comment MARRIAGE and Matt and I will personally reach out.
