Cookies & Friends Showcase 🍪

Thank you @choreocookies for allowing me to be apart of this intensive process. I'm so thankful for being given the opportunity to grow, learn, and connect with others doing what I love doing most. This was a much needed push, both physically and mentally. Super grateful for all the connections I've been able to build over the span of 9 weeks, and I've come out of the experience feeling more confident in who I am, both as a person and as a dancer.

Shoutout to my group for being so down!! I had so much fun bonding, collaborating, and dancing with yall, and I'm super proud of what we put together. I'm glad we were able to learn from each other and build a deep connection. Love yall fr 🫶

Also, thank you @ysabelletolete for being such a welcoming, supportive, and kind mentor. It was such a privilege to have the chance to connect and gain more knowledge from you. You've played a big part in my growth and I'm so thankful for the wisdom you've shared with me.

I feel so blessed to have had the chance to create my own section and showcase it to the community. I am so happy with how it turned out and just wanted to put it out there 🤎❤️

First post in 5 years, to share a love letter w/ the ending of summer 💌 (last slide)

2.22.26 The end of August marks six months since the passing of my beautiful boy, Riley. I remember the day we met at the rescue, watching him paw at the window, ready to come home. That was the day I learned home is never just a place, it’s a feeling, it’s the very things we hold dear that can never leave our hearts. Riley became my home.

When his time came, we sat on the deck at sunset, where a honey bee, in winter, visited us, landing on Riley and staying with him. I melted, finding out a bee during death is a final goodbye from a loved one, as the bees carry the souls of the departed. That was just like Riley, giving an epic sign in his wake, and every day he gives me more.

They say when you love something let it go, but love has a funny way of always returning. The ones we lose are never really lost, they’re with us, in the love they continue to surround us with. I felt this at Riley’s celebration of life, filled with flowers, friends, and a day as beautiful as him. His love is what led me to graduate with my master’s in MFT this summer, working as a grief therapist in hospice, where I’ve learned so much about the beauty of being alive. And how death, yet tragic, makes our lives that much more beautiful.

He also brought me love through the amazing friends, family who made turning 30 more special than I imagined. I was blessed receiving my first tattoos in his honor that day, like his paw print, inspiring me to put pen to paper, to share stories that bring others hope. He brings me that, knowing he’s there to greet others crossing the rainbow bridge, like our dog Jasper and cat Kasey, who also passed peacefully this year.

We say ‘grief is love with nowhere to go,’ but I think grief is love finding its place, in where we choose to be and who we choose to become. Grief is love existing beyond time.

So here’s to a year of grief, a year of meaning, of moments worth celebrating, and reminders that life is truly worth living. That the ones we love are forever with us, just like my Riley.

And if you see a honey bee, know it’s my beautiful boy, saying hello again. 💛🐝🫶🏼

Words can’t express how I am feeling! So blessed and grateful to become apart of this experience. Thank you @carlodarang @amorledesma @k8sung @warrenmvigilia and @jefftaylorlane for being supportive and inspiring throughout this entire process. Thank you @evanlloyd_r for being my buddy in doing this intensive and always cheering me on. This was definitely one for the books and one for the memories. Couldn’t have asked for better dancers to dance with and enjoy this journey. Gonna miss the Monday nights practices running til 1 in the morning to the endless conversations at canes until 3. Couldn’t have wanted it any better and can’t wait for the next one to happen. #GETGWOWN

even though I'm a day late to international dance day, I just wanted to post these to reflect how far I've come; being in this industry has been challenging and rewarding all at once, but as I am constantly learning new things about myself as a dancer and person within this hectic world, I forget to give myself credit for how much I've grown. Just wanted a reminder of how dance is supposed to feel and to not be so hard on myself, don't know what I would do without it <3 (last vid is just for the LOLz, sometimes you jus gotta laugh it off 🤪)
