The number 3has been following me everywhere leading up to World Masters. At first, I ignored it. Then it happened again. And again. Eventually, it became too much of a pattern to ignore. I will fight on Match 33. I’m chasing my 3rd World Title. The final is scheduled for 3:03. I’m receiving my 3rd Degree. I will fight on September 3rd. And then there’s what the number 3 represents to my faith. The Trinity:The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Resurrection and new life:Jesus rose on the third day, representing the ultimate victory over death. Then the little things started piling up… My gate at the airport was 3. My hotel room was 33. And the morning of the fight , walking through the casino, I watched the roulette wheel land on 3. Could all of this simply be coincidence? Maybe. But at some point, you have to stop asking whether it means something and start asking what it means to you. For me, 3 has become a reminder. A reminder of faith. A reminder of sacrifice. A reminder of the journey. A reminder that I’ve been here before—and that I know what it takes. September 3rd. Match 33. Chasing World Title #3. I’m ready. God willing. M2 WORLD CHAMPION 🙏🏻❤️🥇 @purebrazilianjiujitsu | @saltperformancestudio | @liftwithling | @mattmiles82 | @officialcheckmatbjj | @checkmateurope | @leovieirabjj | @grapplingstore @bjj_tees | @nathaliachantre
