Well it was a year of mental ups and downs but our fantastic passengers and great fishing made it one for the books. Didn’t know how this would all work out on a new journey but sure glad we did it. I want to thank all of our fantastic passengers and their families for a great 2025 and hoping for an even better one in 2026. We couldn’t do it without you guys!!! As far as bookings for 2026 we have some but not a lot of openings so if you would like to get a date or just talk about some options we have then message me directly here or call me at 949-793-5128. Our first major fishing combo trip was a success. Thank you Jim for the fun trip. They wanted Tuna, Yellows and Lobster and we did just that. We had full speed Bluefin tuna fishing the first day followed by very good hooping for lobster at night and a very good shot at that 25-35 pound Yellowtail. We topped it off with all you wanted Calico Bass up to 4-5 pounds. We are going to be doing these until the lobster closure in March. Your next opportunity is a Lobster/Yellowtail combo leaving this Sunday at noon returning Monday at noon. There are four spots available in the prices of $575. We will also be doing a little bit of Calico Bass fishing indefinitely, a shot at a Seabass or two. If you’re interested, you can message me here directly or you can book through the land in if you don’t mind the 3 1/2% credit card fee. @22ndstreetlanding @daiwausa #halibut #seabass #wsb #catalina #yellowtail #fishing #socal #oceanfishing #spinylobster #squid #deepseafishing #lobster

Happy to announce that @mattressthomas will be joining as a co-owner and primary captain on Njord our Parker 2320 moving forward and I (Chris) will be primary captain on Fisker our Parker 2820. Matt brings many years of knowledge in the fishing industry with him, has excellent customer service, and is a valuable asset to the growing team at Left Coast Sportfishing. Looking forward to moving into the new season with two boats and two full time captains. Gotta catch up on the fish posts, that’s coming soon.

Just when we think the fishing can’t get better, it keeps on surprising us this year. We finished our light load Charter with excellent opportunities on big Yellowtail, wide open big Calico Bass and an insane night time Bluefin drift where we landed 19 from 100-185 pounds as well as 11 from 40-80 pounds. We still see plenty of White Seabass around, but until we get a more favorable moon phase this insane big Yellowtail and Calico Bass fishing to go with excellent Bluefin fishing on jumbos will have to do . This next full moon should kick out some good White Seabass fishing with the volume that we still see around. We are sold out until August with a few spots available on our Calico Bass overnight specials. As well as a few 1.5 day trips in September and October. With the fishing that we have experienced the last few winters we have also added some Seabass specials from October to December as well. This year has been a banger so let’s keep the good times rolling. @22ndstreetlanding @fishworks_clothing @aftco @ownerhooks @okumafishingusa

Epic trip with Howard and the boys. Stars aligned and every species we fished wanted to bite from a full speed Seabass bite to big tuna and everything in between. Summer is in full swing and we are hoping for some more of this going forward. We will be focusing on Seabass for the foreseeable future on all open party trips still. @22ndstreetlanding @ownerhooks @fishworks_clothing @okuma_fishing @aftco
