the two times your brain is most susceptible to information is as soon as you wake up and just before you go to sleep.

in our modern world, we easily give those time blocks away to activities that drain us - doomscrolling, watching tv or being glued to our screens.

if you want to practice peak mental performance, use those two periods of time wisely.

meditate, journal, or read and don’t give your brain an information overload.

be kinder, gentler and more loving to yourself.

here’s a tool for getting better at managing your emotions - name it.

naming an emotion significantly helps reducing the charge you feel because of it.

by naming it, you become aware of how you’re feeling instead of suppressing it and choosing to numb it.

it signals to your brain to pause and feel the emotion fully before moving on.

what separates good from great is the ability to take action despite feelings of doubt, uncertainty or lack of motivation.

if you’re working towards a goal there will be times where it will be hard to put the reps in.

who you choose to be on those days changes everything.

show up, do the work and look for ways to improve.

3 ways to start trusting yourself more often:

1) Keep small promises to yourself.
Stop focusing on the massive goals for a moment.
Trust is built in the tiny moments:
• Going for the run when you said you would.
• Finishing the task you committed to.
• Following through when nobody is watching.

2) Listening to your intuition.
The more you constantly seek validation from other people, the harder it becomes to hear your own voice.
Start asking:
“What do I think is the right decision?”
Then practice acting on the answer.

3) Collect proof, not opinions.
Ask yourself the right questions:
What challenges have you overcome?
What goals have you achieved?
What difficult conversations have you had?

Your past successes are proof that you can handle more than you think.

Self-trust isn’t built overnight.

It’s built through consistent action, repeated evidence, and the willingness to back yourself when uncertainty appears.

The ones who make it never made it look easy.

They just stopped complaining about how hard it was.

Greatness costs you everything.

Your comfort, your circle, your old self.

And still, nothing compares to the relentless pursuit of it.

If you’re in the middle of the process right now, losing sleep, losing people, finding yourself, keep going 🤍
