Walking into a gym for the first time, or for the first time in a long time, can feel like a lot, and that’s exactly why we love starting new members with a one-on-one Fundamentals Session.

Before you ever jump into a group class, our coaches walk you through the foundational movements you use in everyday life, clean up your form, and figure out which version of each movement fits you best, whether that’s hinging with a kettlebell, a hex bar, or just your bodyweight to start.

It’s also your chance to ask all the questions you’ve been sitting on, from what to bring and how long sessions last to which class times fit your schedule and whether you’re ready for group training. No question is too small, and we’d much rather you walk in confident than stay on the sidelines wondering.

SAVE THIS ONE 💪🏼 This is one of my favorite upper body workouts from Better Balance Strength!

What I love about this workout is that your core is working basically the ENTIRE time. You’re training your arms and shoulders, but so many of these movements force your core to stabilize your body at the same time. And I can tell such a difference in my core strength since training this way.

PHASE 3 UPPER BODY WORKOUT 👇🏼

Warm Up
A1: ½ Kneeling Overhead Press — 3 x 6–8
A2: Renegade Row — 3 x 8 each side

Superset:
B1: Bear Tricep Extension — 3 x 12–15 each side
B2: Split Stance Bicep Curl — 3 x 12
B3: TRX Pike — 3 x 10 (you can use a stability ball instead!)

Superset:
C1: Lateral Crab Walk + Toe Tap — 3 x 5 steps each direction with 5 toe taps at the beginning and end
C2: Lateral Crawl — 3 x 15 yards each direction
C3: Starfish Plank — 3 x 20 reps each side

This is just a little preview of Better Balance Strength — the 12-week strength program my personal trainer @mattv31 and I created together.

It’s 3 progressive phases over 12 weeks, so instead of doing random workouts and hoping they work, you have an actual plan that builds on itself and gets you stronger week after week through progressive overload.

I’ve been doing these workouts for the last few months and I’ve seen SO much muscle growth, leaned out, and gotten noticeably stronger — especially through my core.

I created Better Balance Strength because I genuinely believe transforming your body shouldn’t require an expensive personal trainer, hours in the gym, or constantly wondering if you’re doing the “right” workouts. 🤍

I wanted to eliminate as many roadblocks to fitness as I could.
