Thoughts and prayers go out to Montez and his family today. You were always good friend to my husband. You were a good husband, good father, a good friend and a good Marine. Your memories live on and you will never be forgotten.

There’s two weapons in this picture. One is a Japanese Ariska or Type 99 and the other one is a USMC Veteran!
•
The man who brought these two together told us that his Uncle, a young United States Marine in WW2, brought this rifle home from Iwo Jima. Eventually passing it to his father and then on to him. His love for family, history and his country have preserved the rifle that he shares with veterans every chance he gets. 🇺🇸 •
Finish the week strong 💪🏼 #recalibrate #history #usmc #veterans #type99 #ww2 #rangeday #ironsights #thisismyrifle #semperfidelis #sharing #weapons #weaponwednesday #warriors #getsomegiveback #iwojima
Think Wednesdays on the gram are gonna be for weapons!

You can pound salt with the “Dysfunctional Veteran” BS. ⁣
⁣
Always come out on Top. Never a victim.⁣
⁣
You make your own choices, don’t surround yourself with people playing the victim card, asking for a veteran handout. ⁣
⁣
Push and challenge yourself, daily to become smarter, stronger, faster, and healthier. ⁣
⁣
YOU ARE NOT BROKEN.⁣
•⁣
YOU ARE NEVER OUT OF THE FIGHT.⁣
•⁣
REFOCUS, RECALIBRATE, REENGAGE.⁣
