Here’s some cool work moments from this year when my Teams status wasn’t “In a Meeting”.

SS27 was my 25th season at NYFW 🫣

A wild realization, and a reminder of how much my fashion week journey has ebbed and flowed over the years. From pure excitement of being in the mix and hoping i’d get put on a single show, to full-on dread and bracing for the post-season flu after doing every single show (iykyk), it’s always been exhilaratingly exhausting. But this season was different. I somehow found myself without a clipboard, not chasing down models who desperately needed one more cigarette 5 minutes before the show, and I was able to see it from a different vantage point again- one of appreciation. For my teams that lock in, the moments we make, and for the access and opportunity we’re able to provide for stylists to shape culture. There really is magic there, even when the chaos clouds it.

A sprinkle full of love from my sisters for Baby Boy Richardson. In the thick of pregnancy, I haven’t always felt like celebrating or even marking the moment, so I’m grateful for my dear friends @stephdb2015 @symonedsanders @marciecleary @profmmurray for insisting that I do. It was beautiful and joyous to bring everyone together, including so much of my DC family.

So much beauty, joy, laughter and inspiration. I got to share a table with @bevysmith , kiki with @yvettenoelschure , and celebrate some incredible people being honored, including @iamnialong , @shunika.terry , @kingmalimagic, @melinda_melrose , @jawaraw and @altonmason .
