Maven Esthetics® 2.0 turns 5 today.

1,908 days later…
I understand now what I couldn’t explain then.

Not logically. Not strategically.
But in the way you only learn by living it.

Thank you for being part of something I was still learning how to hold.

I come from the ‘if you have time to lean, you have time to clean’ cosmetics counter era.

Back when presence mattered.
Details mattered.
How you left a space mattered.

That’s the difference.
That’s why I’m trusted.

Adriane + Breanna | brow WAX (and a whole vibe)

There’s something special about the kind of trust that passes between sisters.

I’m so grateful I get to do what I do. @adrianelynn83 thank you for trusting ME® 🤞🏾🫶🏾

It was harder for me to become an Illinois Licensed Esthetician. Illinois Licensed Educator. For my business to be licensed to operate in the Gold Coast as a Body Art Establishment. For my Illinois State Inspection. To own a condo in my Gentrified neighborhood. All harder than it is to become and keep a job in the same city as a police officer. I have more education than a damn police officer!!!! I went through more loop holes to be all that I am, with the world still on my back. We matter. No justice. No peace. #blacklivesmatter #browmaven #thebrowmaven #mavenesthetics
