League Champions! 🏆🌳 Our 1XI have won the Championship for the 2026 season! At the first time of asking, the lads secured promotion back into the premiership…where we belong! A massive congratulations to all the lads on this fantastic achievement! Up The Trees 🌳

Player Performances 🌟 This week saw Max Didge take 6/51, when the 1s needed it the most. Marsden were set to go big, and up stepped Max Didge. Taking 4 wickets in the last 7 overs to restrict the visitors to 244/9. 😮‍💨 Harry recorded his first 100 of the season, hitting 111* from the number 1 spot. Registering a 121 run partnership with our newest tree Nayyar Abbas. Nayyar hit a destructive 68* off 48 balls as the pair saw the 1s to second in the league. 💯 Ewan Edwards continued his form this year, taking 5/41 against Edgerton, the left arm spinner was helped out by another of our junior stars TC. TC took 2/24 and then belted 47* off 45 balls as the 2s took all 6 points! 🔥 Ava Jones was the stand out performance for the Bears as she smashed 3 x 4s and 5x 6s for the Bears on Sunday! Go Ava! 🐻

Top performers from the weekend 🌳 Bridgey continued his recent run of form with an unbeaten 65* against Kirkburton, helping the 1s to 218 off a rain reduced 40 overs. Didge then came to the party with the ball with his first 5fer of the season! 👏🏻 The 2s rolled Honley for 70 in 23.1 overs, largely thanks to Sebby with some ridiculous figures of 6-10 off 6 overs, his 2nd 5fer in 3 weeks 😍 he’s already having his best season with the ball with 31 wickets, at 12.16 (🤣), and counting! 🔥 #UTT 🌳
