⋆.˚ 𖦹 THE SECOND DROP 𖦹 ˚.⋆

✦ Continuing the night is Max Lawrence (@max_lawrence._ ), a Berlin-based Australian vocalist, composer, songwriter and producer. ୭ ᵎᵎ

⟢ Their chimera-like compositions melt trip hop, dreamlike RnB, chamber music and ambient folktronica into one body. Field recordings drift through expressive orchestral textures and mosaic-like grooves, making a bed for a voice that is soulful and intimate. ⋆˚꩜｡ּ

𓏲 Experimental at heart, yet in love with the togetherness of pop, Lawrence weaves a musical tapestry using many needles. ๋ ࣪ ˖

༄ Fair warning: that voice will get under your skin, and you might not want it out. Wear something you feel good in, stand a little closer than usual, and let the night flirt back. ˖°..ೃ࿔

*:𖦹 Every great night has a G spot. Come claim yours. We are already wet. °‧

˖ ༄˖° Baby we love partying, and we know you do too!

We grew up between clubs and house parties, flashing lights, dancing your head off, full on blast.

ᵎᵎ ⟢⋆ But we have missed those authentic connections in the berlin party sceneᵎᵎ ⟢⋆

So we decided to create a hybrid made of pounding bass, electric performances and community.˚꩜｡ּ

꩜(Re)candor is the culmination of a long search to provide and create an alternative to the night life in Berlin. ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖A place where souls meet.

Providing a warm, open environment where dancing, experiencing and connecting hold all equal importance..ೃ࿔*:･

𖦹°‧Snacks and fruits will be provided for the beginning of the event. Our concept relies on our shared energy throughout the night, so if you want to have the full experience, arrive early. Doors open at 19:00.

𖦹°‧The location will be shared on the day of the party via our telegram channel attached to our bio.
Join now and stay posted!𖦹°‧

Made by queers for queers with the intent to reconnect the world ୭✦

We can’t wait to meet you !

Last weekend was the opening of @_soft.edges and it was a very wonderful experience getting to show two of my favorite projects: ‘Teratophilia’ & ‘there’s a certain sense of comfort in knowing i’m about to fade away’. I want to thank everyone who came by to take a look, it means the world to me!
-
I want to extend a deep thank you to the @_soft.edges team, and the team @newfears_gallery 💖 with special thanks to @max_lawrence._ & @_______marc for helping with the installation process. Another huge thanks to @yoviephoto for trusting my vision for ‘Teratophilia’ 💫

Cutiiiiiieeeesss, forget what we said about the THF Bar hang out 👅. We celebrating 9 years of BRENN. at the coolest fire station club there is; Alte Feuerwache! 🔥👩‍🚒

We were handpicked by the THF Radio community to do this extravaganza of DJ’s, performers and a seduction workshop at a beautiful temporary space close to Tempelhofer Feld.

BRENN. was established in 2017 as an antidote to the hard techno scene of Berlin with the idea to bring it all back to the “burning point” (DE: brennpunkt) where it all began which is 90’s House music with Black DJ’s like Frankie Knuckles, Jessy Saunders, +++
We started off in not-so-legal venues, we went through a full blown pandemic and we changed things up internally. But baby BRENN. is here to stay, like it or NOT! 😂

ATTENDANCE = MANDATORY!

FRI 25.09.2026
€15 - FREE for trans cuties (ask at the door)
Tempelhofer Damm 45, 12101 Berlin
22:00 - late

Ctrl featuring @max_lawrence._ from my new LP Avarena is available on bandcamp for the next 24 hrs🩶 you can download it right away when you preorder the album, or if you have already preordered 🪽

the idea behind this song was to create a wall of noise which is carved away to reveal the core lyrics and melody but which keeps returning, like a sculptor trying to create a static image out of a rock that turns out to be alive and hypertrophic

i was lucky enough to master Max Lawrence’s LP, If Only My Limbs Were Longer, earlier this year and they’re so inspiring to me. it means a lot to have their vocals on this track. if you’re into my more art-pop leaning work there’s a good chance you’ll be into theirs too xx
