What a wonderful day at UO Portland!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, shopped, ate, listened, connected, and supported the Woodlawn Farmers Market.

From our incredible local farmers and vendors to the Built Oregon small businesses, live musicians, families, neighbors, and UO Portland community, you made the day something special.

This is what farmers markets do best: bring people together while keeping our dollars local and supporting the people who grow, make, bake, and create in our community.

Thank you, UO Portland, for welcoming us! 💚

We’ll see you NEXT SATURDAY back home at Woodlawn Yards Plaza! 🥕🎶

FRESH BREAD FOR LESS — THIS SATURDAY ONLY!

The Woodlawn Farmers Market is partnering with Maxines PDX to make freshly baked whole grain bread more affordable for our community.

This Saturday, we’re offering a limited number of $4 bread vouchers for neighbors who participate in any public assistance program, have recently experienced job loss, or are currently waiting for assistance benefits to begin.

With loaves regularly priced from $5–$12, your voucher brings the cost down to just $1–$8 per loaf.

🍞 HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Stop by the Woodlawn Farmers Market Info Booth

Pick up a $4 bread voucher — one per household

Redeem it with Maxines PDX at the Woodlawn Farmers Market

Take home some seriously good, freshly baked whole grain bread!

📅 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
⏰ 9 AM–1 PM (while supplies last)
📍 Woodlawn Farmers Market | NE Dekum St & NE Durham Ave

This is a one-day program with a limited number of vouchers available. Bread and vouchers are available while supplies last, so come early!

Fresh food should be accessible to everyone. We’re grateful to Maxines PDX for partnering with us to help make that happen. 💜

Would you like to donate money to keep this and other programs thriving in Woodlawn? Let’s talk. Reach out via email woodlawnfarmersmarket@gmail.com or message on instagram or stop by the info booth.
