Mid Year Book Tag!!

This is shaping up to be my best year in terms of how many books I've read and highest ratings! Not sure if it's because I've gotten better at selecting books or I'm not as harsh any more. Im just here for the vibes ✨

Thanks for the tag @chellesofbooks 🙂 I've tagged some friends to participate as well!

The 5 stages of reading challenge 🙃

A little while ago @bookedmybook tagged me in this challenge and I’ve been really wanting to do it – so here it finally is!

😶‍🌫️ Denial - a book you refuse to believe ended that way: Nine Liars by Maureen Johnson. This cliffhanger, with the next book nowhere in sight, was the worst – I truly can’t wait to finally get the next one in a couple months.

😡 Anger - a book that made you mad: The Handmaid’s Tale. My last reread of this was during the overturn of Roe v. Wade and I were feeling a lot of feelings, especially towards men.

🧐 Bargaining - a book you wish had a sequel: Fable for the End of the World by Ava Reid. This book had so much potential for a bigger story and we didn’t get that – I want it.

😭 Depression - a book that wrecked you: On the Savage Side by Tiffany McDaniel. Can’t say this enough: You should read this! Brutal, beautiful and entirely heartbreaking.

😌 Acceptance - a book you finally got around to reading and absolutely loved: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I don’t know why I waited so long, it was so good.

I’ve tagged a few people to partake if they want – no pressure.💛
